My instructor, Bill was incredibly patient, kind, and informative. He worked on building confidence and making sure you understood the rules of the road. He helps you see your mistakes and gives great defensive driving skills. We shared lots of laughs. The administration part was a little slow at answering questions and assigning a driver, but overall, it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend this course and company.

I had the best experience learning with Jacky! Jacky is not just a driving instructor - he's a true mentor. Jacky pays attention to every detail and genuinely cares about my progress. He makes sure I understand driving isn't just about passing a test—it's about being responsible on the road. I nailed my road test today on the first attempt — I can't recommend Jacky enough!!

I was a beginner for driving, but with proper instruction and corrections that make me a person with good driving skill and got my license in my first attempt. I suggest McKenna’s driving especially my instructor Bill, he is doing an amazing job . He makes you perfectly fit for the road.

From the very first class with **Jacky Wu**, it was evident that he pays close attention to details and approaches driving with a thoughtful philosophy. Jacky genuinely cares about ensuring you thoroughly understand the road rules and focuses on your learning rather than just treating you as a source of income. I highly recommend Jacky if you wish to master defensive driving, understand the mental aspects of being behind the wheel, and grasp the intricate details of driving maneuvers and road rules. Thanks to Jacky's patient guidance, I eventually passed the road test.

Bill as my instructor and he was wonderful and nice to me. I had to wait 3 years before I had my license due to medical complications. I start in 2021 and was very bad at first but over a few month's in that year I got a lot better. In 2023-2024 I had msg bill back saying I was ready to start driving again after being healthy and he said it wasn’t a worry at all to pick up where we had last stopped. I’m very thankful to have had bill and I wish he see this -JP

Weird how there's only 3 5-star reviews...

I had several concerns about my in-car lessons: firstly, my instructor didn't give me much guidance about the content and expectations of the road test nor did he teach me how to park in a space until I brought it up the day before I was supposed to do the test. Not sure if I was just given up on as an older driver or if this is the norm. The instructor was also frequently using twitter on his cell phone while I was driving the car with only half a clue and a L license; seemed a bit dangerous, in my opinion.

Then, there was the scheduling issues. I had to reschedule several lessons and rebook my test because the instructor's schedule changed multiple times and later the company swapped instructors around. Due to the scheduling problems, I ended up doing a bunch more practice driving in my spouse' vehicle, using my spouse' vehicle for the test. So, I did not get the school vehicle for the test as advertised. As an older student, it was difficult adjusting to the scheduling problems that the company had because I had less spare time for the lessons based on my work hours/locations.

For some reason I lost access to the online lessons after I completed them. However, I managed to find most of the content on the YouTube channel, so that was all right.

I'm rating the school 2 stars because I believe 3 stars is that they did the job with no strings attached, 4 stars is that they did the job well, and 5 stars is above and beyond. Overall, my spouse was a better driving instructor and they were paid with a nice dinner out that we both enjoyed. If I had to do driving lessons all over again, as an older student driver, I would choose a different driving school.

I'm leaving a review, but it's also a thank you. I'm an adult-learner who was beyond terrified to drive.

I was in a major accident in 2010 that changed my life in too many ways to describe. Between the major recovery process, the specialists and the health conditions that came with it, I wasn't cleared to be allowed to drive for years. This year I finally got my clearance and started (slowly) learning to drive. It was utterly terrifying and all I could picture was the accident over and over again.

Today I drove through the intersection I was hit at and then drove to my parents place. No fear, no problems, just did it. Finally freaking did it. Might not seem too big to some, but it was a huge accomplishment for me today.

I would not have been able to do that without McKenna's driving school. The instructor (Todd) has been amazing, patient but also pushes me to get out of my comfort zone with the fear. I'm finally driving without wanting to throw up at the thought of it.

I can't recommend this school enough. If you're nervous to drive, putting it off, or whatever the reason - this is the place to go to help you with that.
