Best yarn shop ever!!! Rey is so helpful, kind, and gorgeously talented to boot. I’m so happy that I live just a few minutes away and can visit often. Selection is great and there are always lovely extras to make your projects shine.

I’m ashamed that I have been so disrespected by the female working in the store. Make me feel like I have no place in the there. I was judged, I tend towards being smart enough to know put my other phone on record bc I have been told to wrap it up. They were closing. I’m happy to come back and play video, and her friend who was allowed to stay. Gets to pay for nothing. THE OPEN SIGN IS ON

This place is SUCH a gem. I recently took a learn to crochet workshop run by Abby, and both Abby and Rae are amazing folks! The atmosphere there is fantastic, so many fun things in store as well as a beautiful selection of yarn. Bought some really cute stocking stuffer gifts. Can’t wait to figure out my next project, as a beginner in crochet I am very grateful for such a supportive vibe at the shop.

I attended several classes and partipate regularly in the drop in knitting group. Rae is an amazing talented teacher and creates a very welcoming and enjoyable learning environment. She has been a significant contributor to my love for knitting. She also promoted community events and local crafts. Great business!

Stix and Stones is one of the nicest LYS I have had the pleasure to visit. The owner, Rae, and her staff. are knowledgeable both in the yarns and multitude of notions and one of a kind knit supplies available. The knowledge base of all is a huge help in selecting yarn and getting assistance when stuck. Knit night was a pleasure to attend with a large varied group of people who's ages and abilities varied. Yet everyone was welcoming of the others attending and help and support were given around the table. The staff were attentive and the entire experience is one of my knitting life highlights. Fantastic store with great atmosphere. Well done Rae!!

Very nice shop with a wonderful collection. I'm not a knitter myself but you can immediately see the quality & care they've put into their selection of products. Rae also does some tailoring - She did a wonderful job with two of my over-sized knit sweaters (I didn't even know they could be tailored) - they look like the day I got them, but they fit! There are also workshops (I was lucky enough to facilitate one) and weekly crafting meet-ups, and it sounds like quite the community has formed around this locally-owned shop.
