Owner Kirk is very rude and impatient to people asking simple questions that spend thousands of dollars in his store. Hung up on me for no reason for asking him a question about bulk discounts on a product that isn’t available online that every other store offers.

Called back because I thought he must have hung up by accident and he proceeded to yell at me and say to take my business elsewhere and there are a lot of other Rona’s I could go to instead.

Never met a more rude owner of a store, sounds like a failing business to me, wouldn’t be surprised if it is sold or closed down in the near future if that’s how he talks to customers.

Perhaps he was having a bad day. He is welcome to call me back and apologize for his behaviour and I will take the review down, otherwise it will stay. I’m not an unreasonable person but this man certainly seems to be.

The rest of his employees seem to be nice but at his mercy of course and I feel bad for them if he treats them or speaks to them the same way he did to me today.

Rona plus Belleville ASM was very helpful getting me what I needed though and had no issues matching the online bulk discount for the product and did not seem surprised about the way Kirk handled the situation, and were happy to receive my business and my thousands of dollars every couple of months.

Older gentleman at sales desk was polite and very helpful. Took my order and even went and got my leg bolts. The cashier was also extremely courteous. The yard staff loaded my 6x6 without complaint as I was unable to help. Thanks for the excellent service.

If I could leave a zero star I would THE WORST place for customer service, nobody offers to help struggling customers. The best they can do is stare at you like you are an alien. Call to let the owner know and all I got was “nothing I can do” will not be doing business with this store again. Nobody greets you, offers to help, or none of staff know where anything is in the store. Save your money and go to Belleville Rona instead where you are treated properly

In a town filled with few home renovation options, there is only one choice. Rona. Kirk and his staff are incredibly helpful and quick to answer questions and give advice on all your home reno projects. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

Did you know, that beyond having a proper selection of hardware supplies - they are also a paint recycling center! Knowledgeable staff helped me to find "an eyelet that attaches to a latch, that pulls and locks a barn door" Rona staff "Oh, you mean a Cam Lock - here you go". Enough said.
