While it is early in the season, and it was my first time playing there are some shortfalls. The layout is quite nice, it is an easy course to walk and can be challenging. Say like the 210 yard par 3 on #8. Both pull carts and riding are available so choosing what you want is easy. Now the challenges, the fairways are rough to say the least, but maybe they will fill in over the summer into fall. The "rough" is actually not bad but in some places I lost a ball just off the fairway, no biggy, just hit the fairway. Sand, while I didn't hit any sand traps they looked in pretty good shape. Lastly, the greens are hard and the SLOWEST I have ever played on...I can only hope as the summer move in, it will improve. I can tell you, I see a lot of effort going into improving fairways and the course in general. All in all, a fair course which should improve as the summer arrives.

Very poor experience, started the round in the afternoon and with no prior warning got kicked off of the front 9 (interrupted on hole 7 by the marshall) for a men's night tournament. Marshall Mason said we'd get a refund for the front 9 that got interrupted and we could continue on the back 9 right away. Long story short Marshall doesn't tell the same story to the front desk at the pro shop so we can't get our refund and the marshall left before we could speak to him about it. Ended up waiting an hour and a half to start the back 9. It's a mediocre course at best, definitely not worth $65(no cart). All around Staff were disrespectful and had no proper etiquette. Poor service, waste of time, the refund would have bumped this up to 2 stars but a round that's interrupted for 7,8,9 and delayed by 1.5 hours is just unacceptable. Grand prairie has a great course that I'd recommend driving out for.

Good course , but the greens keepers only change pins like 3 times a week, and bunkers are rarely raked . Other than that if water permits greens are pretty good

Not the best web site - could not find green fee pricing. THEN NO seniors rate on a Sunday! Course was OK to play BUT not worth the cost.

This golf club would be better rated if it didn’t try to be something it isn’t... a country club! If it accepted the fact that it’s a backwater golf course in an inclement climate where getting a professional golfing green is difficult and set its prices accordingly there would be less disappointment when you find the muddy course littered with bald spots and ruts.
Don’t expect much; the grounds flood frequently and there isn’t a lot to be done for it! It’s got space to practice your golf swing. They should re-evaluate their sales pitch because it is not a country club and nothing smooth about this green! Since they’re one of the only places in town, I guess they can call themselves whatever they like. People can have some fun here and it’s a place to go, a dose of reality would raise their rating!

The course is in the best shape it has been in the last ten years. with new trees planted and old shrubs/dead trees taken out. $20 for 9 holes before 9:00 AM weekdays.

Nothing wrong with the course. A bit of a links style course. Not seeing the issues the other reviews had. I had to rent clubs too, so I expected a higher price. I'd play again no problem.
