This student dorm can be booked like a hotel in the summer months. It can be affordable for the right booking (2 couples - 4 people). We paid on the high side at $223 (all tax and fees in) for 1 night for 4 people.

It has a nice location but probably requires a car.

I liked:
Full size fridge
Microwave
Friendly staff
Clean and quiet

I didn't like:
No clock
No bedside lamps
Miniscule tv
Tiny double beds
No ice machine
No couch
Housekeeping only every 4 days
Saggy mattress
No coffee maker

I would stay again but only if the price were much less.

The staff I have had encounters with have been nothing short of awful. Truly just mean sad people. They are all day ruiners. They literally wake up in the morning hoping to upset you in some way.

Got lucky with a big room - not a bad place to live. Very convenient for students attending TRU. Darcy at the front desk is truly amazing and the only staff that works at the building who is kind and respectful. Rest of the front desk staff are extremely rude and make living in your temporary "home" not welcoming. Only had issues with heating - took about a month to get fixed but the building provided a space heater in the mean time. The laundry room is the worst part, not cleaned often and very expensive considering the machines are old and often broken.

Horrible place to live in. Extremely overpriced for a tiny room in a 4-bedroom suite with barely any appliances (Even no stoves in your kitchen). Rude staffs don’t know how to be polite or how to do their work. They sometimes even lie to make their work easier. No lock on your bedroom door. Would recommend no one to live here.

Do not live here. Staff are rude, dismissive, and invasive. There is hardly any hot water, and when there is, it comes out brown. We've had our fridge break and spoil all the food, and had a large leak under the bathroom sink that left the entire bathroom floor soaked. And the staff have yet to do anything about it when when they say they will. For the price you're paying, its not worth it. The only good thing about North Tower is the view.

This is probably one of the worst places I have ever lived. Staff are constantly invading your privacy and are rarely friendly. You literally live in a modified jail cell, you RARELY have any hot water and you need to run your water for several minutes before using it as it is usually brown and sometimes even has chunks in it. No discounts, money back or even any support at all during all of this. If you enjoy walking to TCC every morning to shower before class then live here but I highly don’t recommend it.

If there’s ever a comment to will sway you to not live in north tower, let this one be it. Do NOT live here if you like hot and clean drinkable water. Many times while living here the water is brown with no notice, after they say it’s “fixed” it is not. Enjoy freezing cold shower? North tower gets a 5 stars for that! Hot/clean water is on and off all year and most recently for the extent of 2 weeks (still pretending to fix it). No refunds, discounts, or even water bottles given (if they even acknowledge the problem at all). Absolutely not worth your money (which is the most expensive of all student housing) take it to east village/McGill/etc. I hate it here and so will you.

The ac system has been broken for the past month and people at the reception desk keep on telling me that the workers are coming. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if my room temperatures wouldn't reach +30celcius every few hours when our room temperature is set to +21celcius.
