Please read this before enrolling!!!

I signed up for this course late 2021. I spoke with Deborah Deschamps who is the administrative representative of the school. I had so many questions and she answered them all and made this school sound too good to be true. I should have trusted my gut.
Working from home, working my own schedule, guaranteed work once I graduate AND I will be making $24-$27/hour. The only truth in that was working from home.
I lucked out and graduated within 9 months of starting this course, I made it my mission to not buy the extension and give this school anymore of my money. I emailed my resume to the list of places they send you once you graduate and heard nothing! I emailed again and again until I finally got an interview and got a position with a company based out of Australia. I didn’t last long there as the pay was horrible, the exchange rate was horrible to the point I was working for free!!!!!! I landed another position at a company based out of the states and I was there for 1 year. The amount of work you put into reports is incredible for the little pay we got, 6 cents per edited line. The most I made per hour in that year was $8 and that was only 1 month! The rest was $5-$7 per hour. Far cry from the $24-$27 I was told I would make.
I have quit MT work because you cannot make any money at it! DO NOT waste your time OR money with this school!!!! Trust me!
They also say they are here for us for life and provide us support after we graduate, another lie! It’s 2025 and the only emails I ever got was for me to send my friends to this school and if they enrolled I could get $50 something like that. But no check ins, nothing!
Again, please do NOT waste your time with this school. There are no jobs in this field and if there is…you will make no money!

SCAM SCAM SCAM! STAY AWAY!

I did a program online last year here and I am STILL looking for a job AND paying off debt. I lost over 50k last year to these guys due to the fact that they are extremely good at convincing you that you can work from home and there are endless amount of jobs available when clearly there isn't! I should have never quiet my job to do a program where I was guaranteed success in my "new at home" career job and it wasn't, it was the complete opposite. They gave up on me after awhile, I wasn't surprised they really just wanted my money.

Great course, great instructors. However, getting a job afterward is extremely difficult. I was enticed to pick this College while I was researching because they claim they will help you secure a job once you graduate. They would email regularly to ask if you secured any employment but that is the extent of their follow-up. It has been over a year now, and I feel as though I have exhausted all options. A part of me feels like I wasted time, energy, and money on taking this course.

I didn't actually go with this school because I decided in-person learning would be better suited for me. However, I do want to give Deborah a shout-out, because she did reach out, answering all of my questions quickly and respectfully. Had I decided to go with an online program this school was at the top of my list. I personally want someone who is quick and attentive to my needs.

I had no issues when I let her know that I was taking a different route. She was extremely supportive and thankful for informing her of my decision.

Very disappointed to hear that Canscribe is still offering their Medical Transcription course. When I first inquired about the course I was told that this career is still very much active and that finding a job would be no problem. I enrolled. Got about 2 weeks into the course, when I was added to the college’s MT Facebook group I started to notice lots of people saying beware of this course, lack of jobs, etc. So I decided after two weeks to discontinue. Now a year later I am still paying off student debt (yup for 2 weeks). My advice if you are considering the MT course, join some MT Facebook groups and ask questions there as they will be unbiased and will give you real life experiences on the industry.

The flexibility and the facility support is amazing. The continuous support that they are providing to a busy mom of 2 children is really appreciative. I am in my 2nd month of Virtual Assistant course and the staff is keeping the continuous eye on my activities regarding my course and providing me all the necessary information and tools too.

In my experience Canscribe staff, instructors, IT personel and the program managers have been helpful, kind and patient with my basic computer background. I've been doing my course for about a month now and I have had nothing but a great experience. Anytime I need support from the Instructors or Tech Support they are there to chat immediately. Whenever you may need assistance on an assignment they are more then willing to go over things with you and give you tips and advice. The student services department is incredibly helpful as well when getting the process started. They will answer any questions you may have and thoroughly explain how it will all go to get your course started. I highly recommend CanScribe College to anyone looking for something to get a career started!!!
