Kids are now in year 2 at Greatway Martial Arts, and I couldn't be happier with the positive impact it's had on them. The instructors are great, incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely enthusiastic about teaching. They have a way of encouraging the kids to push themselves while also making the classes fun and engaging.
I've seen a difference in both kids' strength, coordination, and confidence. They come home with "Quest cards" and compete over who will get to do the chores to check off on their cards - it's awesome.
They look forward to every class and are learning valuable life skills like discipline and respect in a supportive environment with great balance.
They've also attended the Greatway Martial Arts summer camps, and they absolutely loved them (it's how we were exposed to GW). Following that first camp, they begged to join and learn Kung Fu and have been dutifully and excitedly attending two classes per week since.
If you're looking for a martial arts program in Kelowna that is not only effective in teaching martial arts but also fosters a positive and supportive community for both kids and adults, look no further than Greatway Martial Arts. I highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough great things about Great Way. My son has been a student there for 8 years now, and is just a few days away of achieving his Youth Black Belt, all thanks to the awesome instructors there. And now, her younger sister, our daughter, is also a GW student, in Year 2 now!
The staff is kind, compassionate, and is always there to assist students and their families.

What a Great Way... to learn martial arts, get in shape, challenge yourself and make new friends. My kids joined up for classes and are having a fantastic time learning skills and building a great foundation for life. I joined up as well and I'm so thankful I did. My body is in much better shape and my old injuries barely bother me anymore. Highly recommend this school for anyone looking for a better well-being, lifestyle and positive community

I have been attending for 4 months now and I love the AMA class. The class is very enjoyable and fun. I feel my whole body getting stronger and more confident in my skills. I have noticed that my shoulders aren't as tense anymore and I have more mobility. I highly recommend the class to anyone that wants to feel stronger and healthier.
