I recently had a great experience with Matthew at Wentworth Music. I was looking for an electric piano for our condo and he was so knowledgeable and helpful in providing detailed information about the different models I was interested in. What particularly stood out for me, though, was Matthew's patience and how he gave me plenty of space to walk around and try out different pianos with no sales pressure whatsoever. Checkout was a breeze and Matthew and another member of the crew were super careful in getting the unit into our vehicle without a scratch. I'm now home, happily playing my new piano and can definitely recommend Wentworth and Matthew if you're looking for great musical instruments at fair prices

I just started learning acoustic guitar and walked into Wentworth Music to ask a couple of questions and pick up some guitar picks. I spoke with Nathan Bil, asked a bunch of questions, and he was super informative. The store is huge and has so many awesome things to check out. I definitely recommend going to Wentworth Music for anything music-related — gear, advice, or inspiration.

Once a year I get my flute serviced at Wentworth. I am from out of town and so always need it done the same or next day. They have always done a great job. This year the flute had more issues than usual, some leakage affecting the sound and ease of play and low notes on the foot that wouldn't even play anymore. Leif did the servicing and wow, what a difference! Plays better than it did when I bought it. I highly recommend this place if you want quality work done on your instrument.

Bought a guitar from these folks off of Reverb and was sent with faulty electronics. Claimed that tech “went through all electronics”. (lie?) Took it to a local music store and was told the fix could become costly. Correct course of action should’ve been to send it back and their techs repair and send back the purchased product. Instead they wanted me to do the leg work to investigate their oversight. To this day have not received any sort of credit or compensation for my trouble. Pretty gross and unprofessional!

Wentworth Music is a great store overall—good selection, knowledgeable staff, and a strong presence in the Kelowna music community. However, I’ve had repeated negative experiences with one of the employees, an Asian lady who is, unfortunately, known among customers for being rude and unprofessional. I’ve heard similar complaints from others, so it’s clearly not an isolated issue. It’s honestly surprising that she’s still working there given the consistent feedback. It definitely takes away from the otherwise positive atmosphere of the store. I hope management is aware and takes steps to improve customer service across the board.
