Not only are the teachers knowledgeable, entertaining, and so much fun - but the whole program has been so flexible and we really appreciate that you truly get what you pay for and can make up classes you miss. Each lesson has been the highlight of our week, and I’d encourage anyone who’s interested to go to a Friday night social and see all the fun it can be!

Friday night dances help me close out my week in the most fun way possible. Drop in dance lesson starts at ~ 8:00 till 9:00. Live music starts at 9:00 till 11:30. Hosts Kevin and Cristabel will have you swinging in no time. Will you be good with a 3/4 hour class? Heck no! But you will have a blast! Check out their website for lessons for many modes of swing dance like Lindy Hop, Balboa, Charleston, and Shag.

Friday night social dances are now at Dance Victoria with jazz quintets. There's a different band every week. To see who's playing, information is available on the web.

Oh! Btw bring clean indoor dancing shoes to keep the dance floor swish.

Kevin and Christobel are very fun teachers and hold a great dance every Friday with a live band. So fun! They also work hard to make RHS a safe and welcoming space, where everyone has fun, regardless of dance experience.

I never learned partner dance before and I wondered what style would be a good fit for me. A friend of mine suggested I should check on Red Hot Swing as they teach all levels of swing dance. I started slowly, once a week with drop-in classes and I carried on week after week, from one level to another. Six month later, swing dancing became my new normal.

Kevin and Christabel are the reason this transition went so smooth. They are well organized instructors, who take good care about every segment of the process of learning. Don't worry if you don't have a partner, because they'll find it for you; they'll show you steps as many times it's needed; and they'll keep you motivated by building your trust in your own abilities.
Since I became their client, I found joy in expressing myself and inspiration to keep moving forward. Their classes led me to enter some new places, discover a big community of dance lovers and enjoy nights filled with great live music.

If you're new to dance or new to Victoria, joining their school would make your world bigger and more amusing.

I get a generous repeat the class discount... and on top of that, I get my student discount!
Last night after class, Kevin and Christabel threw on a few songs... and everyone was dancing up a storm! It was awesome!
Not only is this great exercise, but I'm meeting so many new people as well.
