I give KB one 10 stars! This was my first time ever trying a martial art, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction than what I experienced at KB One Muay Thai in North Vancouver. From the moment I walked through the door, I was welcomed with open arms by the owner Mehdi Pouroskoui. Mehdi is a 3 time World Professional Muay Thai Champion, Canadian Muay Thai Champion, Western Canadian Champion, Pacific Northwest Kickboxing Champion and more. The environment is incredibly warm, supportive, and encouraging, perfect for beginners like my self and seasoned fighters ready to take it to the next level. Thanks again Mehdi, I look forward to becoming apart of the KB One family!

Kru Mehdi and Miss Barb, the owners and head instructors, treat you with respect and provide tons of encouragement. I have been going for many years now, the first time I've ever stuck with something for more than a year. It's a great workout and I always leave with a smile on my face. The students there are friendly and I remember it being very easy to get started as a beginner. Most importantly for me, I feel confident that I can defend myself if necessary. Also love the new juice bar.

My husband and I have been training privately at KB ONE for six months and we love everything about it! The expertise and the experience are five star. The gym is pristinely clean and well equipped. We both get exactly what we want from our private training sessions. For me it's about fitness, strength and fun with a solid Muay Thai technical base. I train with Frankie. My husband is all about perfect technique and steady improvement. The killer workout he gets each time from Kru Mehdi is a bonus. We can't say enough about KB One.

I have been coming to kB-one since May. It’s a great place to Learn Kick boxing and get into the shape.

The trainers are good and teach you the right technique. If you join here there is no need to join a gym. I would Recommend to come early and/or call in advance, try a free class and see if you like it.

They are flexible with plans and are happy to work something out for you.

The students here vary. Young or old, male and female. Friendly group of people.

I have trained in the KB ONE kickboxing gym for 3-4 years now. It has changed my mentality and my physicality completely. I have trained with Mehdi and he has given me excellent knowledge about fighting as well as teaching. I would recommend going to sign up because it will give you a total new experience to kickboxing.
