Review of the Breathwork Session

This was an incredible journey into myself. At times, it felt like I was switched off—transported to other places—only to suddenly “wake up” again, though I was never really asleep, just flowing with my breath. In those moments, my awareness became incredibly delicate, almost ethereal, as if I were witnessing visions that even the most skilled writers would struggle to describe.

The voice in the recording was simply magical.

Facilitator guided us gently yet firmly, creating a deep sense of trust in the process. Headphones were an absolute must—they made the immersion complete. And the dark, warm room added both depth and comfort, making the whole experience even more powerful.

This was truly wow—one of the best light breathwork experiences I’ve ever had.

This is a beautiful studio, the facilities are functional and have a comfortable earthy design; a lot of wood, with a sky-lit studio providing natural light, and great acoustics . I appreciate and respect all my teachers, their dedication to yoga is obvious and warm, each one brings something different to every class, it is up to me to provide the rest. I vey much appreciate this space, so close to my home on the North Shore.

Vanessa is an incredible instructor! Her deep knowledge of both the spiritual and physiological aspects of yoga was evident throughout the class. She created a grounded, intentional space while also providing clear, thoughtful demonstrations of each posture—which meant I didn’t have to constantly look around the room to figure things out. I left the class feeling aligned, challenged, and deeply restored. Highly recommend practicing with her if you get the chance!

Modo Yoga in NV is truly wonderful. I started with a monthly trial about a year ago, and it turned out to be the best decision for my health. The instructors are incredibly caring and knowledgeable, and the admin team is just as warm and welcoming. The studio is always clean and inviting, making it a joy to walk through the door. Over the past year, I've grown stronger, healthier, and more in tune with my mind and body, and for that, I'm deeply grateful.

I usually go to yoga classes, but I tried a few barre classes recently and absolutely loved them! The atmosphere is amazing, and Flora Yang is such an energetic, motivating, and encouraging instructor. The music is great too, which makes the class fly by so quickly. Highly recommend giving it a try — it’s a fun and challenging workout in a really positive environment!

Modo won my heart with hot yoga - I have been in other audios, but Modo atmosphere is just superior. The spaces are great and all the instructors are really good. I love when instructors keep it short and sharp - just very clear so I can truly focus on myself and the moment instead of having to seek visual guidance.

The studio is not too large nor too small; people are spaced well.

After trying different yoga classes I have found hot Pilates to be amazing. Still need to try barre.

Love this place! I was getting sick a lot and was having horrible insomnia. I joined the 30 day intro pass (with the goal of completing the 30 day challenge), because I knew I needed to start yoga consistently again.

Long story short, after the 30 days: My sleep has improved significantly, I've been healthy with no sicknesses, I'm more connected to my breath, and I'm more motivated to do the things I need to do.

Why all these amazing changes? I believe it's because of the heated rooms, daily moving my prana at Modo Yoga. I love how a lot of the teachers help guide you to remain connected to your breath. As Carly says, "if you've lost your breath, you've lost your practice". I notice myself using my breath as a tool, even off the mat.

Whatever it is...I'm signing up! I love this studio. The teachers are fabulous and the staff is lovely. The atmosphere is perfect for dropping deeper into yourself: there is instruction NOT to talk while in the yoga room (I've been to another studio where there was a lot of chatter), the room is dimly lit, and I don't know what it is, it's just a feeling.

I'm so happy I'm now feeling back to myself! May we continue to breath and sleep well! Thank you Modo Yoga.
