Masha’Allah, Very well maintained and organized Masjid. It is very beautiful from outside and inside. I have been here couple of times and has always been impressed by its cleanliness and thoughtful maintenance. It has a good Sister’s area and an small outdoor play area for kids. They have some parking in the back and street parking around. The neighborhood is also very central and nice. I would recommend anyone who is in the area pay a visit. May Allah(SWT) bless the Masjid committee and community there.!

This masjid is a truly welcoming and well-maintained place of worship. The cleanliness is exceptional, with shining bathrooms and a spacious prayer area that provides comfort for all visitors. The imam is a humble and respectful person, making the experience even more spiritually uplifting.

I had the privilege of spending the last ten nights of Ramadan in i’tikaf here, and it was an unforgettable experience. The mosque offers excellent facilities, including a dedicated space for sleeping and even showering, ensuring a peaceful and fulfilling stay.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and well-organized place to pray and reflect!

5 Stars – A Beautiful and Well-Organized Masjid Upon the Sunnah

Masjid Ar-Rahman is, without a doubt, one of the most organized masajid in the Greater Vancouver area. From the cleanliness and layout to the structure of their events, everything is thoughtfully managed and well-maintained.

What stands out the most is that the masjid is clearly upon the manhaj of the Salaf – Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah. It’s refreshing and reassuring to see a masjid that prioritizes adherence to the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah with the understanding of the righteous predecessors.

The masjid itself is beautiful and spacious, offering a welcoming atmosphere for worship and learning. The weekly public classes held every Saturday are very beneficial, covering essential topics in a clear and accessible way for the community.

Special appreciation goes to Imam Abu Uwais, who ensures that all activities and events are strictly based on the Sunnah, without compromise. His clarity and dedication to spreading correct knowledge have made a positive impact on many.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to connect with a community grounded in authentic teachings and structured learning.

Very easy to get to whether by bus or car. MashAllah it was very spacious and the wuduu area was clean with slippers near the entry. In addition the ladies prayer area was air conditioned and carpets were clean and there was space near the entry to place a stroller. They even had prayer clothes and enough chairs for the elderly. AlhamdulilAllah that this Masjid exists. We met a lot of kind and friendly people during the Friday prayer and the khutba was very beneficial. Will inshAllah attend future Fridays prayers during our stay in N Vancouver.

I’ve never left negative review for a mosque. This center is an exception. A friend of mine was asked a while ago to leave this center because he was praying there and they realized he’s from a different Islamic denomination. I myself visited the centre yesterday to pray and two things stood out : it says it’s the first Islamic center in north van (it’s not at all and this shows they don’t consider others Muslim) plus there is a sign that says the sheikh can ask anyone to leave without providing any reason. And as I said I know this has already happened. This reminds me of what happened in the racist eras when black people were asked to leave business property. They argued it was their private property and they could ask anyone to leave. And the civil rights movement was to tackle that. I would not be surprised if someone can take this ugly practice to court. Most importantly it’s ugly islamically in a world where Shia and Sunni are holding hands to fight enemies of humanity while some folks are stuck with sectarianism. I have no doubt many decent people attend this center. That’s beside the point.

Why maximum masjids in Vancouver remain closed after prayer time!!! This is a very nice masjid mashaAllah and we really wanted to pray since we are travelling from Edmonton. It is a request to masjid authorities if they could initiate any way to make it easy for traveller muslims ( may be any password/ phone number who can open). May Allah bless you all
