I visited this church because it continued to hold services despite the mandates that were put in place by governments abusing their power.

In terms of why I continue to attend, I enjoy the music ministry at the start of the service and I enjoy fellowship with many of the people who are in the congregation.

Unfortunately, the sermons are pretty much the same message over and over again - which gets tedious. This is a shame because I end up having to watch sermons from another church to compensate for the lack of meaningful content in the sermons at this church.

It doesn't help that the leaders at this church are more interested in "unity" or "keeping the peace" (much like the Sanhedrin when Christ was among us in the flesh) than "truth" (what Jesus Christ represents). Worded somewhat differently, the leaders ignore facts that contradict their beliefs and clearly pander to people who agree with them; this is what they mean when they say "we would like to get to know you better before we discuss your ideas".

I am curious as to how long it will be before I am evicted from this church because speaking truth makes the snowflakes in the congregation feel "uncomfortable" or "unsafe".

The academic in me finds it interesting to note how much these people have in common with SJWs. My opinion as a Christian who also happens to be psychologist with expertise in judgment and decision making is - based on this and other information that I have not included in this review - that this church is a train wreck in the making, i.e., it is only a few steps behind the other churches in this area (province?). Not a good sign in these last days.

In December of 2019 my wife, our 4 boys and I moved to the Valley from Ontario. Aside from leaving family and friends back home, the next most difficult thing to do was leave behind our church family who we knew and loved so much. Weston is a church focused on presenting a solid doctrine not based on traditions or the words of man, but on the inspired and inerrant Word of God and prayer. It's also a church full of both mature believers, young people and growing families who all love spending time together, growing in faith together, and navigating the challenges in life together. From the moment we walked in the doors we felt welcomed and loved, and are so thankful we found this group of believers!

My family joined Weston Christian Fellowship a year ago and have very so blessed with some of the best friends and most loving people. Faithfulness to scripture (in context) is extremely important in this church. The Bible Reading Challenge here changed my life. Love these people ❤️

This church is a breath of fresh air among a world full of fear and hate. It is truly a blessing to worship with fellow believers who are not afraid to follow Jesus Christ in the face of difficulty. A wonderful group of Believers who are faithful in obedience to the Lord, gathering as He commanded.

Anyone who thinks a church startiyng open in defiance of unfounded government mandates bad form and unchristian, must have forgotten just about every story in the Bible, which is filled with Men and Women of God rising up against government constructs of the day. Moses, Noah, Ruth, Jacob, David, Daniel, John the Baptist, Jesus, and all the disciples save one, and Paul all stood up against government, and religious establishment. It's what Christianity had been built around, being in the world and not of it. No government ever has cared about its citizens any more than to make sure they collect their taxes... This church left their light on amidst the darkness. All praise to the living God.

This church broke public health rules not once, but twice. What type of Christian organization actively breaks the law and encourages its congregation to do the same. Very disappointing.

Finally, a gathering that will not Bend the knee to Caesar. When the rules of the land defy the law and guidance of Christ, then resistance to Tyranny is obedience to God. #noKingbutChrust
