By far the best part of our first trip to Anderson's was our guide, Liam. He was very personable, great guide, and made delicious shore lunches. We caught a lot of fish in 4 days.
Delicious meals, with huge portions in the lodge.
One criticism would be the seats in the tinnies are very uncomfortable. It wouldn't take much to invest in foldable boat seats that support your guests back when they are out on the water for 8 hours.

Fishing-
5 days at Andersons Lodge was the best 5 days of fishing I’ve had in my entire life, and I fish a lot! Our guide, Jack, was absolutely incredible. Extremely professional and also very down to earth and personable. He put us on a TON (literally over 2000lb) of fish. We caught, on average, about 120 fish per day between the three of us including Walleye, Lake Trout, Smallmouth, and GIANT Pike. We opted out of Musky fishing but we did have a few monsters try to swipe our Walleye on the way up. So we did get to see them too! Jack went above and beyond to put us on (what sounds like) more fish than anyone else at the “Liars Bar”. From lending us his own personal lures and baits, to bringing us to some of his secret honey holes. We had an absolute blast!

Service-
The service was exceptional. The managers, Arlene and Rick, were extremely helpful and polite. The owners, Jackie and Jodie, were very accommodating and pleasant to work with. The waitstaff were all great! I want to give a particular shout out to our server, Brooklyn, for being an absolute pleasure to deal with. She remembered our names, cabin, drink orders, and preferences after day 1. If I owned a restaurant I would hire her in a heartbeat. Someone give that girl a raise!

Food and accommodation-
The food was all delicious. Especially the cast iron fried fish and potatoes for shore lunch! The cabin was very nice and comfortable. Pair that with the breathtaking scenery surrounding the lodge and you’ve got yourself an amazing trip regardless of the legendary fishing!

Summary-
If you’re looking to book a fishing trip to Canada, I would 100% recommend Anderson’s Lodge. The service, environment, food, and fishing were all out of this world! We will be back and we will absolutely be requesting Jack as our fishing guide without a shade of doubt. Thank you to all the staff for making this an out of this world vacation!

5 Stars – Outstanding Experience with Exceptional Guides

Our recent trip with Anderson Lodge was truly one for the books. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless, enjoyable, and packed with unforgettable memories—all thanks to the incredible efforts of our guides, Ethan and Jack.

These two went way above and beyond. They handled every detail with professionalism and care, from organizing gear to preparing incredible meals each day—meals that were better than any restaurant, and somehow cooked right in the middle of the wilderness. Seriously impressive.

Ethan immediately stood out for his energy, humor, and ability to connect with our crew. He jumped right into the fun, laughing with us (and at us) like he was part of the group. One of our inside jokes—about one guy always “pulling a Pelican” by repeating what had just been said—became a hilarious running theme, and Ethan was right there keeping it going. He struck the perfect balance between professional and personable.

Jack brought a calm, focused energy that really rounded things out. He made sure everyone had a great time on the water, and thanks to him, a few guys in our group caught their first Northern Pike. His patience, knowledge, and quiet leadership didn’t go unnoticed.

This trip exceeded every expectation. Ethan and Jack didn’t just do their jobs—they made the trip what it was. Their leadership, work ethic, and ability to connect with guests were unmatched.

Would we do it again? 100%. Anderson Lodge, you’ve got two all-stars on your team.

Anderson's Lodge provided an outstanding fishing experience once again! This was our eighth visit, and we were impressed by the warm welcome and flexibility of the management. Our guide, Zack Tucker, ensured we caught smallmouth bass, walleye, pike, and musky, and the fish fry lunch was superb. We also enjoyed capturing photos of moose, eagles, and loons with chicks. Highly recommend for any fishing enthusiast!

I would like to say that my stay at the Anderson lodge was a fantastic and memorable experience. With a group of 8 friends, we spent 4 days fishing lac Seoul . We were guided by 2 young men, Orlando and Phil, we collectively caught over 1000 pickerel. My father and I were recorded as Master class fisherman on our first day, catching a 27.5 inch and 27 5/8 inch pickerel. That was just the beginning of our trip!! The lodge was immaculate, the restaurant and staff were fantastic. As most of our time was spent with our guides fishing , there was not a moment without a fish being on the line! As a matter of fact, usually double and triple headers!! Way to go to Phil and Orlando for keeping us over the fish at all times. Marc on the docks was always smiling as was Jeff the general service man. Great trip, great memories and an awesome trip!!!

Thanks to all , looking forward to next year!

What an amazing experience!

My son and I came up as our June northern Saskatchewan trip was cancelled due to me having open heart surgery.

All we can say is wow!!
5 fish over 40”
3 elusive Muskie
And over 15 pike over 34”
Boatload of Walleye
My son even smashed his first Bass.

Orlando was an amazing guide
Jacquie and staff were absolutely amazing.

First our guide Steven was great. He didn't say a lot but he knew the area really well and obviously enjoyed seeing us catch fish. He also prepared some great shore lunches - I'm still full.

The lodge is really well set up and the cabins are very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately due to Covid the restaurant was closed; however we were still treated to some great meals!

The area is pretty remote and we didn't see more than one or two boats each day while fishing on Lac Seul. Lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery made each day an adventure.

Anderson's is not the cheapest lodge to visit - but remember you get what you pay for! Looking forward to a return trip in the very near future.

Had a fantastic time enjoying a boat tour and shore lunch a few weeks ago! The fall colours were gorgeous as our guide took us on a detailed tour of Abram and Pelican Lake. We had some family in town, and it gave them a great opportunity to explore the local lakes and learn about the local history as well! Would definitely recommend, especially for those looking to give family and friends a unique local experience.
