Kendellhurst is an exceptional school. Our child is thriving in the caring, positive environment they foster. It feels like home to the children - who are nurtured and supported by both teachers and the devoted administration: a blessing for working parents who leave their child for a long day! At the school, they establish meaningful routines, encourage students to grow and develop at their own pace, and they promote curiosity and discovery, building confidence, social awareness and leadership skills - even at a young age. What's more - they offer daily French language programming in a fun and engaging way. Oh and the food is high quality and accommodates special preferences. What a dream not to have to make lunches! We'd highly recommend if you are considering a school in the area.

A Deeply Disappointing and Distressing Experience

Kendelhurst Academy in Oakville was nothing short of a nightmare for our family. We enrolled our child with hope and trust, only to discover gross neglect and a shocking lack of compassion. Our child was left to cry for the entire time he was there—day after day—without comfort, proper attention, or the basic emotional support every child deserves.

We gave our withdrawal notice at the end of the first month of enrolment, but due to their 2 months notice period policy, he was forced to be enrolled for 2 additional months.

He attended only a few days over the span of three months, simply because he was in visible distress each time we brought him in. It was heartbreaking to watch, and even worse to realize that the staff appeared completely indifferent to his suffering. They have not acknowledged any of my follow-up emails requesting a partial refund either, which shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect for families.

Not only did they refuse to refund our fees, but they also never once followed up on why our child had stopped attending. That level of disengagement says everything you need to know about how little they truly care about the children in their care.

This was not just a poor experience—it was a failure of responsibility. We regret ever setting foot in this place.
