I did the motorcycle safety course at SSNS in Bayers Lake last weekend. I cannot express how much I recommend it for new riders. The instructors were super helpful and patient and made the course fun. They had a good range of bikes to choose from, which I was worried about because of my height, but there was something there for everyone.

I recently completed the motorcycle training and licensing course offered through Safety Services Nova Scotia, and I can confidently say it was the best experience I've ever had in a training program. But don't get me wrong—you're not paying to get a license. You're paying to save your life.

The motorcycle training program is remarkably thorough. The facilitators are incredibly patient, encouraging, and experts in their field. They are in your corner, serving as your cheerleaders, genuinely wanting to see you succeed. The two days I spent learning how to ride a motorcycle again were among the most incredible experiences I've had. The program restored my confidence and equipped me with new skills that are invaluable.

Even during the testing phase, when I was very nervous, one of the instructors came over, gave me a little pep talk, and told me to think of watermelons. That simple, quirky advice did wonders to calm my nerves and helped me focus.

If you are considering learning how to ride a motorcycle, I wholeheartedly encourage you to take this program. It is well worth the investment. While it may seem expensive to some, the cost is justified when you think about the life-saving skills you'll acquire from these incredible instructors. I cannot emphasize enough how much this course has benefited me, and I believe it can do the same for you.

I just got my license yesterday, and all I can say is that the whole experience was amazing. The course structure was great, and the instructors were especially caring, friendly, and very helpful. Definitely recommend!

I can only speak to the quality of their road test (car, not motorcycle), but my instructor was excellent. He was kind and calm and gave me some very useful and detailed post-test feedback on how I can improve.

I took the Safety Services Motorcycle Training & Licensing Course at Beechville DOT Garage on October 14th and 15th, 2023.

The instructor Anthony was extremely rude, aggressive and abrasive towards me and I was verbally abused on several occasions; he had tendencies to lose both his patience and his temper whenever I would make mistakes.

As it was only my first time operating a motorcycle, I was not good at doing so - however he expected me to ride like Valentino Rossi which became problematic throughout the course.

I felt very uncomfortable, intimidated and unsafe whenever he was yelling at me. I sincerely regret signing up for this course and for not standing up for myself against Anthony; I honestly should’ve given him a piece of my mind, learn some basic respect and stop treating others like literal crap.

His behaviour made me feel uncomfortable, intimidated and unhappy;
on top of that he had the audacity to suggest I ride with a smile on my face.

I completed my motorcycle training course on Chain lake dr today and I cannot recommend this place enough. It was beginner friendly with great instructors. I also liked that there were many other women taking this class. Thank you Paul, Dion and Peter! 🙂

Whoever the head Motorcycle instructor working today July 13 is a really horrible person. I got lucky with the instructors a month ago. I see why so many gave negative reviews for this guy. He is a real hot head and shouldn't be in this profession.
