TWICE they canceled the tcp course! That's 2 months extra without work because they didn't want to lose money by running the class with how many students had signed up. A refund 5 days later doesn't do crap when other classes are full by then. If you are looking to start work asap AVOID this "training" location.

I am absolutely appalled by my experience with Worksafe T. I originally booked my first aid course for mid-January. When I showed up to take the class, I was told it had been canceled because I was the only one registered therefore they couldn’t run the class. They claimed they had called and emailed me, yet I received no calls, voicemails, or emails—on either my work or personal accounts. When I asked which contact information they had been using, they couldn't even find it on their messy desk.

Later that day, a woman called me back to rebook, offering the February 6-7 or February 20-21 sessions. I told her I needed to check my schedule. That afternoon, I called back and confirmed I wanted a spot in the February 6-7 course. They once again took down all of my information.

This morning, I arrived for the class, was directed to the room, just finished filling out my sign in sheet, only to be pulled out and told that someone made a mistake and I was actually booked for February 20-21. And, of course, today’s class was full, so I couldn’t stay.

This level of disorganization is completely unacceptable, especially for those of us who need these certifications to stay in compliance at work. My first aid training has now been delayed by over four weeks. While the staff member I dealt with was polite and apologetic, this entire ordeal has wasted half my workday not once but twice, and forced me to reschedule everything yet again.

I’ve been taking safety courses for over 10 years because I am required to have them in the oil and gas industry, and I have never experienced anything this unprofessional. It’s inexcusable.

I was frustrated the first few days of the advanced first aid, because it's a lot of information to learn. But the instructor encouraged me to not second guess myself. So I paid more attention to what I had been doing to diminish my confidence. And I passed with a final mark of 92%
Everyone was welcoming, friendly and they have a very comfortable atmosphere. The instructor Deseray (not sure if spelled correctly) is very knowledgeable with extensive experience in the field. This is essential for any good instructor. I'm so very happy that I took the course and that I took it at this location. It turned out to be an awesome experience. Highly recommend them.

I took the OFA 3 course. The instructor was very professional and very knowledgeable about industrial first aid. Best part is you actually get to practice with the equipment you'll be using in the field. I definitely look forward to recertifying in three years with them!

Completed the OFA Level 3 and it was definitely a challenge. Alot to learn and know in 2 weeks. Very physical but very worth it.
Sheri is highly knowledgeable and has decades of experience.
With 2 weeks studying, reading, homework and the physical demanding parts of the course was definitely worth the hard work.
I am now certified and very grateful to this place.
Highly recommended and I hope to see you in 3 years.

I just took an OFA1 course after waiting for courses to open up again since Covid started. This was the 3rd class since they reopened and I was super happy with how well everything was thought out and managed when it came to social distancing and sanitizing. All of the equipment we used was presented in individual baggies to each of us from a bin. Class size was small so we could keep 2m apart. We were each given our own bottle of hand san and a bottle of spray sanitizer to use and then keep.
Crystal is an excellent teacher and is very fluid in her teaching. She was easy to understand in spite of wearing a mask the whole time (except for during respiration’s) She explained the why’s and how’s and was always open to questions. She was seriously a top notch instructor! I’m sure that if this is the quality of teachers this business has, they’re all good. I hate classroom setting stuff but I highly recommend this place if you need first aid training if any kind. My husband has also done multiple safety certifications here and feels the same way I do!
