I have been getting my helicopter (private) license through JoinAir. I’m now about 40 hours into training. I have known Craig Joiner, the owner and chief instructor, for several years. Craig is a highly experienced pilot with over 22,000 hours; both as an instructor and working in the industry. He has a tremendous reputation in the helicopter world as a stand-out instructor, and is highly respected by his peers. I have been impressed by his wealth of knowledge, the confident way he gets the point across to the student, and his great sense of humour. In everything he teaches, safety is always paramount. He has up to date equipment and his R44 is immaculately maintained to the highest standards. His office manager Deanna is friendly, very helpful, and extremely competent. A great smile greets you every time you walk into the office. I have no hesitation in recommending Craig and his flight school very highly. Anybody that graduate from JoinAir can be confident that they have been trained by the best, and commercial students can be reassured that they will be able to get a job once prospective employers know where they have received their instruction!!

I had the privilege of taking my training at Joinair Flight school. Undoubtedly, the training program was challenging and required a considerable amount of effort and dedication. the team of individuals at the flight school made it a truly enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Their unwavering commitment to their students was apparent, and they demonstrated a sincere interest in assisting each individual in reaching their desired aviation goals. My instructor Azam was an amazing teacher and pilot. As a result of his exceptional instruction, I recently obtained my PPL for fixed wing aircraft. Finished my fixed wing flight training at this Flight Training Unit after several years of hiatus. The instructors and staff are consummate professionals, and brought me back up to speed for my written and flight exams with ease.

I've also done about an hour of rotary wing instruction with Craig Joiner, who was extremely skilled in both flying and instruction.

Now with nearly 100 hours of flight under my belt, I cannot recommend JoinAir highly enough!

JOINAIR is a top notch flight training center with the added advantage of being in Chilliwack where you are able to do your air work only a few minutes after taking off rather than spending valuable flight hours just traveling to and from a flight training area.
