Definitely a nice place to take your children and burn off their energy! The staff is very friendly and the rates are super reasonable. I do prefer this over go bananas to be honest. Take snacks and lots of water with you as kids will definitely be sweating.

Only wish it would be air conditioned but otherwise it’s a 5 stars ✨ business here in Chilliwack!

Kids love it here; however, I agree with the other person about the younger girl coach being miserable, she was short with the kids, speaks very low and always seems annoyed, definitely doesn't want to be there... makes it tough for shy kids to feel comfortable... perhaps if she doesn't want to be there she shouldn't

We recently checked out Chilliwack Gymnastics. We went to a few drop-ins then signed up for a few classes when term started.

The first class with the coach - we noticed she was not into it. She seemed miserable. No introduction. No info on what to expect. No coaching or guidance. Very low voice when giving direction on what is next.

People have off-days so we wanted to give the benefit of the doubt - we thought we'd try again. But nope. Again...no guidance, support, coaching etc.

We opted out of our following classes.

We would encourage the “Coach” to start class off by introducing themselves, setting the expectations, then actively engaging with and coaching the kids. Positivity and cheer would be good.

In addition, the cleanliness…. Or lack thereof… eeek

You walk in, and there’s a smell. Not a good, clean smell. I don’t think they clean this place regularly.

But in addition, there were sick kids in the classes 100% of the time. Visibly and audibly sick - severely runny noses and coughs. Our daughter developed an intense viral infection after her last class.

The staff should turn away children/parents that are visibly sick. Its not fair to others.

For these reasons, we won’t be attending classes. But will also be cautious in attending drop-ins during flu season.

Great teachers, structure, and environment. The teachers really go the extra mile making sure your kids are comfortable when doing an exercise and give them as much attention as they can. Considering the chaos, we are always very impressed with how well the teachers are doing w/ managing their class. We have never felt that our children were put at risk. I would highly recommend this program if you are looking to try recreational gymnastics for your kid(s).

My daughter loves coming here. She loves moving and stretching and is keen to learn cartwheels. The instructors are qualified and meet my expectations of (no pressure) fun based programs for my daughter's age. I can afford the prices and they accept email transfers so it's super easy to make payments. My only negative is the equipment could use a little updating but it is functional and that is what is important.

My daughter has been coming here for years. She has never wanted to learn competitively so the relaxed fun approach to teaching has worked really well for her, and she has loved every coach she has had. It is a much older gym than the others in town, but it is cheaper and I really love the changes that the new manager has been implementing too - lots of equipment upgrades, a big clean-up, various room renos, and better all round admin with helpful updates on Facebook and in the class newsletters.

We had a great time at Chilliwack Gymnastics Club for our son's birthday party. The kids didn't want to leave the place. The owner was making sure everybody's having a good time and safe. We will definitely come back for more birthday parties there!
