We absolutely loved our stay at Coombs Country Campground! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They really go the extra mile to make sure you feel at home. One of the biggest highlights for us (and especially for our dog Daisy!) was the fully enclosed off-leash dog park ~ finally, a campground that truly includes your furry family members in the experience. Daisy had the best time running free and safely playing while we relaxed. It meant the world to us to see her so happy. We were so impressed with everything ~ clean sites, peaceful setting, and thoughtful touches ~ that we’ve already booked a monthly stay for 2026. We can’t wait to come back and make more memories. Highly recommended for people and their four legged family ❤️🐾❤️

Smelled our neighbour's sewer each evening. Terrible showers in the pool area. No privacy. No one mentioned to us about the showers or bathrooms in the upper portion of the campground. So we were showering in the pool showers that was very awkward. Wouldn't stay there again. Definitely not a campground vibe.

Very well maintained with friendly and accommodating staff. Though the tent sites are close together everyone respected the quiet time.
The pool made it kid friendly for the kids and the adults loved the hot tub.

There are lots of things to do at this campsite, super kid-friendly with nice playground with decent pool. good area, not super scenic but still excellent. not super private, but not too concerning because everyone there was nice.

Great campground. We were only here for a 1-night stopover in March so didn’t get chance to try out all the amenities… but the staff were lovely, and the campground was beautifully kept. Also very sheltered under the trees - quite like a provincial park campground.
It is also in a super convenient location, close to attractions like the butterfly farm and the famous goats-on-the-roof market.

This is a fantastic campground. It has everything you could possibly ask for. Large kids park with zip lines to basketball court. Arcade room, swimming pool, small store and a small lake.
Super clean bathroom and free showers. Plus a laundry room.
Also a small enclosed dog park.
You’re surrounded with beautiful trees and clean well kept campsites.
They accommodate all campers from tents to big RVs.
As a bonus you’re close to the Coombs marketplace and the fairgrounds.
Absolutely recommend this place for your camping experience.
Although, I would assume it’s packed with families during the summer months so if you want a peaceful camping experience maybe go in the offseason lol 😂

We camped here for a night while touring the island. The campsites were good enough and there was drinkable water. But the bathrooms had closed (?), which seemed like an odd thing for them not to have mentioned. To make matters worse there weren’t any staff available to provide information on the area (or where we might find solid facilities). I would have preferred to have saved my 40 bucks by camping in a parking lot near a gas station with a bathroom.

We went in the spring, so I’m sure the service improves during the peak seasons and the bathrooms will open eventually. I would just try to avoid this place during non-peak season unless you have excellent bowel control.
