This place is truly magical. The drive through the forest was a bit of a task, but every turn brought something beautiful — tall trees, fresh mountain air, and the peaceful feeling of being surrounded by nature. Once at the top, the view was absolutely mind-blowing.

I loved listening to the birds chirping, the distant sound of waterfalls, and the whispering wind through the trees. I even spotted a few little squirrels running around — so cute! It’s the kind of place where you just pause, breathe, and take it all in. Highly recommend for anyone who loves nature, scenic drives, and peaceful moments.

Breathtaking view! Words and photos cannot fairly convey the beauty. This attraction is definitely underrated and deserves much more attention. You can drive all the way to the lookout point. A word of caution is that the road to the lookout point is not paved and specially in cold season, you need to have proper tires to get there.

Old logging road …. A bit of wash board so plan on a good 20 min one way to take it slow. The platform is a bit smooth - would recommend something other than flip flops.

Stunning view from this lookout point. Photos do not do it justice. We went out of a cloudy/rainy day and it was still wonderful! Gravel road up to the look-off is in good condition.

The wooden look-off is in terrible shape and dangerous to go on.

.it was October 1'2024. road was dangerous but we did it on our small car Nissan Versa. 4 people was inside-2 adults and 2 teenagers. There was rain and the road was wet. Sometimes the road was so narrow, sometimes not. And wow😍😍😍. The view was amazing from the hill🏔️. 8.5 km to a hill from the highway. We drove slowly and carefully. There is no asphalt there, the road consists of mud and stones. drive uphill all the time. It is better to have a jeep🚜🛻. Take a thermos to the mountain and enjoy the beautiful views. The wooden pier is broken, it is better not to stand on it. We liked this place.👍

The name Sicamous is derived from the Shuswap First Nations term for Narrow.

Sicamous (/ˈsɪkəmuːs/) is a district municipality in the Shuswap Country region of south central British Columbia. The place is adjacent to the narrows, which is the confluence of Mara Lake into Shuswap Lake.

Drive up a little treacherous with vehicles coming at you. Great lookout.
