I studied compositing with the school and it was such a wonderful experience. Every single instructor was absolutely amazing, and they are all still working within the industry. You can tell that they do not hold back any type of information and work at your pace. They all have the patience of saints, answering the same questions over and over until it was understood. They really teach for success and want what is best for their students after graduation. Such an amazing group of individuals and would 100% recommend.

This school is a fabulous resource with excellent programs and instructors. I've sat in on a number of classes and events and co-taught a photo essay course years ago. you can really feel how passionate each of them is about compositing and VFX, and about sharing everything they know. They’re always willing to adjust to each student’s learning pace.

I enjoyed every class and found it truly amazing how deeply they explained each topic, making sure everyone was keeping up and fully understanding the material.

They genuinely focus on helping students succeed and care about what each person learns from every class. I learned so much throughout the course and gained a strong foundation in compositing. It’s a truly inspiring team, and I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in compositing or visual effects.

My time at InFocus Film School was truly amazing! From the start to finish, every moment in the Film Production Program was full of excitement and learning. Each term gave us something new to try, and every month we worked on big film projects. It was very challenging but also so rewarding. I really felt my confidence grow as a filmmaker.

The hands-on experience on each project helped me improve both creative and technical skills. By the time I made my grad film, which was based on a childhood story I always wanted to tell, I felt ready to take on something very personal. Working with my classmates to bring my vision to the screen was such a special experience - something I will never forget.

Overall, my year at InFocus Film School was the best year of my life. It pushed me to grow, gave me so much skills, and I made connections that will last forever. If you are passionate about film and want a school that offers real-world experience and creative growth, InFocus is the place to be!

I had a super experience studying the 3D Animation Program at InFocus Film School! The class sizes were small, with only 10 students in my group, which allowed for plenty of personal attention from our instructors. This was such a huge benefit, as we received constant, positive, and encouraging feedback that really helped me grow.

All of my instructors were industry professionals, and they brought invaluable insight into current trends and practices in the animation world. It was so inspiring to learn directly from people who are actively working in the field.

Beyond the education, my group was fantastic, and the school had such a positive, creative vibe that made every day exciting. I felt supported and challenged in the best possible ways. I highly recommend InFocus Film School to anyone serious about pursuing a career in 3D animation!

I am a working script super looking to get training on a specific computer program which their website says they offer continuing education courses on. I was very clear when I inquired.

I was then inundated with "Good news! :)" emails telling me there was a spot for me in their Film Production Program. I tried to clarify that I had no interest in general training in an industry I have been working in for years. This was met with "thank you for letting us know about your decision" & "sorry the program isn't the right fit for you now... if anything changes reach out"

The way they so desperately are trying to recruit from people who actively do not need or want their training makes me think it is a big hustle for money and nothing more. An admissions advisor with absolutely no understanding of who would find the program useful or why is a big red flag and I want to caution anyone considering this school.

Graduated 2024. 3D animation. It is a one year on-site course. The class setting is smaller than other schools, and each student have their own personal workstation for the entirety of the course. In a group of 12-13 students, with classes almost everyday of the week, every student got a hands-on approach. Navigating new software for the first time can be daunting, and this process was eased with the instructors always being by my side, always ready to answer any questions, or help with any task. The course itself composes various aspects, such as 3D modelling, Rigging, Lighting, Animation, but with the instructors there, especially Magic Eslami (Concept Design Instructor and Program Lead), I learned about Story boarding, drawing techniques, scriptwriting, coding (python), in-depth knowledge of Maya (3D software) and Unreal Engine (game engine). Why I am mentioning this one instructor in particular is because, when you will be at In Focus Film School, he will be your guide (and many times, savior) from the start till the end. Always helpful and always smiling, he really made my year at In Focus Film School easier and more engaging. He pushed me to explore more aspects of the 3D animation field that I never considered. With the Concept Design module, Magic taught me the importance of taking a step back, planning out your characters, and scenes, and using simple techniques, draw them out, before getting into anything else. And this is just one example of how much more I learned through this course.
