A group of us spent a night at this motel while traveling the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia. We booked 4 rooms, true to the pictures on their site, they were a little dated, but they were all clean and comfortable. Exactly what we had hoped for the price we paid. We arrived later in the evening and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I would stay at Wildwood again.

Hair in bed.
Bedding was dirty.

We removed all bedding and slept in our travel blankets we bought earlier.

Wouldn't recommend at all. They should be 1 star or less and not even show up in accomodation searches.

If I had to compare this motel to something I would have to say Bates Motel from Psycho. The room was incredibly dirty, full of dead bugs and cobwebs. The fixtures in the bathroom were rust stained and dirty. I don’t think they ever ran a mop over the floors. The windows were nailed shut from the outside. The door to the room did not lock properly. It was a good thing we travel with our own bedding. After staying here we threw our own sheets away after putting them on top of the bed to sleep on. They advertised breakfast but did not offer any. They were turning away potential guests and they had lots of empty rooms (atleast 8). No one was around at the time of check out, so you just had to leave your key in the room. It is a real shame, based on photos (from likely 10 years ago) this place was a mom and pop motel and was well looked after and enjoyable. But it had since been sold and the quality and pride of ownership has drastically declined. I hate to give them a 1star rating, but it didn’t give an option for 0 stars. We certainly did not feel safe staying here.

Oh my goodness. Worse place. Sad That motel use to be so clean. Dirty. Toilet didn’t work. Lamps were put together with black tape at socket

Mold in bathtub mat and shower curtains. Dead bugs on floor. No complimentary breakfast as advertised. Very dirty and disappointing

On the site it stated breakfast included. Luckily on check-in when we asked what breakfast time was, we were informed that there'd be no breakfast. They did refund $19.00. Had to ask for a spare roll of toilet paper as the roll in the bathroom was only a 1/4 roll. They did replace it with a new roll and also spare roll. There were two "daddy long leg" spiders in the bathroom. There were two more items that I could mention but we made it through the night.
