We went to the valour fc game and the school division made us leave before it had even started, some of us paid 30-40$ for food. We saw NO problem with the air quality. ABSOLUTE SCAM, Do better.😡

The school got us tickets to a Valour fc game but not even 15 minutes into the game they told us we had to leave because of “air quality”. I spent money on that trip and there not giving it back. And the air wasn’t even.

I have repeatedly reached out to ecole George McDowell school in regards to the burnt out lights on the north side of the school facing the playground. Initially, it was for the two light standards at the main north side entrance that are still burnt out, but now a light on the building is burnt out right by the boarded up window of where I’m assuming someone broke in because of the lack of light. it would be nice to finally find a resolution and get these fixed due to the ongoing issues with crime in the city!

Wrote an email inquiry to the International Student Department. Worst response ever. Wonder how they get any students at all. Replies are ZERO in helpfulness. Oh and it took them half a month to reply to a simple email with basic questions. Why would I even bother applying to your school with such a bad experience to begin with. Good luck getting any international applicants who actually pay more money for the programs.

Ecole George McDowell school will not fix its exterior building lights and lamp lights near the playground. The staff entrance off the parking lot light burnt out. The light mounted to the building. Manitoba hydro says they have no jurisdiction to replace these lights. It really makes the area feel unsafe at night… spoke with the janitor and and he they did not seem to care 😡

Be careful while applying. They will hold your application for couple of months even though u applied as soon as they accepting the applications.

They make the application fees money and keep you waiting. They dont care about student's time and money. Stay away from Manitoba. Get the admission in ON or BC.

I had applied here in ece department as soon as application started ...but now it had been 2 months and i hadn't received any information about whether I'm admitted or not ... whenever i call to know my current status they just keep saying to wait from past 2 months ....i had submitted my documents too but don't know what the problem is ...
just clear the applicants about there status don't keep them in waiting line like this ... don't play with the future of students
