Our family and friends have been coming here for 3 years and we have no complaints! With stunning sunset views, a perfect sandy beach protected from waves by the boat docks and a large play ground/ games room for the kids you and your family would have a wonderful time here! My son loves kayaking around the beach, trying to catch up to the ducks to pet them lol. Us parents get to hang out under the tiki bar and watch the kids on the trampoline and swim/ play around once we are tired from joining!

We booked last minute and stayed Sunday night. The resort is beautifully kept, neat, tidy and well loved. Beds r comfy, hosts r amazing. Chalets are equipped with all you need, spotless and updated. The swimming area is lovely and perfect for kids. Lots to do a great experience. I would recommend and want to book again. We loved our stay:).

We were here for a wedding and it turned out great. The cabins are rustic and clean, and the grounds are well kept and clean. It has a wonderful beach with plenty of water toys for the kids to play on including a lily pad, loating climbing wall and a water trampoline. They also have a floating tiki bar that is a blast to sit on with your friends and hang out the lights are on until 11:45pm. The neighbors were fairly accommodating given the noise we were making with the wedding. The beds in the older cabin are small and uncomfortable, and in need of replacing, but that didn't make the stay any worse. We spent many nights hanging out at the fire and drinks by the beach, and it was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a holiday booked on the water.

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! I was their with 6 of my kids, my wife and three grandchildren and what a great family atmosphere. The owners had an amazing fireworks display and I cannot say enough about the grounds, rooms and the beach and toys that you can use! I will be back and thanks so much for Liz and Jim for doing such a great job looking after us.

For more than 15 years, we spent every summer vacation with our two kids at Balsam Resort. It was a great place to be with your family After many years away, we returned to the resort this summer We were so pleased to see the upgrades. The new toys at the beach, the beach furniture and beach bar were fun. The units were upgraded with fresh paint and furniture. I liked the new barbeque area.|This is a terriffc spot for a beach holiday, especially so for young families. I can't wait until my grandkids are old enough so that I can share this with them

This is an amazing resort with plenty of things to do for the entire family. Stayed at the resort for the labour day long weekend and everything was perfect - the cottage we rented for 6 adults had ample space with a kitchenette. There were enough paddle-boats, kayaks, sand toys, even a trampoline for kids in the lake. the fireworks on the weekend were enough worth the money, amazing. Even minor things like the barbecue were top quality (Napoleon) - no compromise on quality. Will definitely go there again. Highly recommended for a family with kids.

We first visited on the July long weekend. It was a last minute decision and we got the very last room in the old lodge. The decor is outdated but the room was well-equipped and functional. We had a terrific view of the lake from our second-story balcony. Nice beach, lots of beach chairs and lots of activities for the kids. ||We went back again on the Labour Day long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Owners are planning to renovate the old lodge so we're looking at renting one of the cottages for next summer.

Been on the lake for over 20 years and finally stopped by the resort the other day to visit friends who were doing a family reunion there. This place was beautiful with many activities to keep your children occupied. If your kid says they are bored here, you have problems! Also have a very convenient store for purchase of sandwiches, drinks,etc. Beautiful spot!
