I went to Landmark East in my days as a sliiiightly troubled youth, right around the turn of the millenium. While I didn't appreciate it then, looking back I would've liked to have seen it as a more positive experience, because regardless of my attitude at the time it was positive. I have kept in contact with a few of my classmates over the years, and I know at least one who went on to work there. If your kids are having trouble in school, and would benefit from smaller classes, less distractions, and more caring staff, then Landmark East might be the spot for them.

Landmark East was a saving grace. Things were pretty rough prior to his start at LME. He started part way in grade 6 and is now graduating... honors and valedictorian. We are so proud and I am not sure he would be here without the support he received from Landmark. They are family and we are going to miss them all terribly but he is leaving with so much. He gained academic confidence and ability, he gained personal self confidence and determination, he learned respect and learned how to advocate for himself. He always tells me that the educators and staff at LME make him feel valuable and capable. Landmark East has given my child the gift of education and the knowledge that he is a capable learner and he is important and smart. If your child is struggling and you are considering Landmark East........ just do it.....yes you will likely need to make a few changes or sacrifices ..... but they are ones you will NEVER regret! Landmark East has saved my sons life.... let them change yours!

I would give no stars if I could. This is not a good school. From Grade 7 to 10 I was horribly bullied by the other students and staff and the principal did nothing to stop it. The living conditions of the school were utterly unacceptable for boarders (I was one myself). I planned to commit suicide back in early 2016 since I could no longer bear the endless abuse and misery I was subjected to. Thankfully I was pulled out of the school after that incident and had to start seeing psychologists and taking antidepressants. Do not attend this place. It is a complete waste of money, time and space.
