I honestly don't have enough good things to say about Tyee Marine. I met Quinn at a 3D archery shoot. My son won an amazing raffle prize that was supplied by Tyee Marine (a UV Slider for his bow). Quinn was super friendly, and I was impressed by the way he talked to my 14 year old. He didn't talk down to him because he's a kid, but treated him as he would any other archer. So often people try to talk to ME about archery gear, even though my son is right there. I don't know anything about it, and it was cool to see that Quinn talked to my son as a peer.

We ended up having to to swap something out, so Quinn said he'd send it to us, and our package arrived here in Calgary within a couple of days. When we opened it up, we saw a hand-written note from Eve, which made my son's day!

I wanted to support a business that shows such amazing customer service, so I placed an online order.

Aiden called me the next business day and aplogized, saying their online inventory wasn't accurate because of a recent change, so they didn't have the item in stock. He said they'd have it within 1-2 weeks if I wanted to keep the order, or he could just issue a refund. He was polite and respectful, and I like the fact he called me as soon as he could to give me my options.

I kept the order, but then had additional questions about something else, so I called back and spoke with Eve. I told her how much her note meant to my son, and it was clear how much passion she has for her customers. I had a question Eve couldn't answer, so I ended up speaking to Quinn again. While I was all set to spend more money, he told me that I wouldn't actually gain any advantage from ordering the extra item I wanted. He talked me OUT of buying something else, but earned a TON of trust. He then spent several minutes helping me out with other general questions I had.

So far, I've talked to 3 people at Tyee Marine, and they ALL seem absolutely incredible. Their knowledge and experience is second to none, and it's obvious the company has a culture that values service and long-term relationships. Even though I live a province away, I know I'll be ordering from them many, many times in the future.

The service here is incredible. Nothing but seasoned anglers and hunters work here. I walked into the store and asked questions, about the pier and fishing it. The staff was more than happy to tell me what to use, what time to go and how to do it. They weren't pushy to sell anything.
After fishing the pier and losing a rig, I went back and asked about knots to add to my line. Again, knowledge and eagerness to help was at my disposal. Top notch store and better people. The only place you need to come in Campbell River for all your angling and hunting needs.
