The campground is very open and has nice sites. The lake views are beautiful but is not a swimming lake Fishing was not a go at all We got one nibble on a week worth of fishing. Someone else caught 2 other wise people have said that they normally catch up to 25 a day but that was 2 weeks ago.It is colder up there and some times very windy. Great for kids to ride bikes, but no playground. I think they should add that. They have the best out houses ever, very clean and no odour.Very clean campground.$18.00 dollars a night nice size camping sites and fire pits. The staff there is very nice.We would go back a go earlier in the season like July.

Great park, clean facilities, friendly and helpful park operators. Lots of open campsites in the middle of the summer, all first come first serve. Not the best lakes for swimming but the fishing is good.

Huge campground. Over 200 spots. All spots are quite large. Potable water on site. No hookups but down the road is a sani dump. Great fishing!

Big shout out for Doug and Susan for looking after my boat when I experienced mechanical issues with my camper van back in July.

I have been coming up to Tunkwa for years, each time knowing that the facilities will always be clean and well supplied. The service they provide is akin to having my own concierge service while camping off the grid. Because of Doug and Susan I will keep coming back and have recommended it to family and friends!

A beautiful provincial park with lots of spaces (266) many of them right on the lake. When we first drove in we thought, wow lots of people, but we kept driving and found lots of empty campsites away from the crowds. Lots of wildlife around especially yellow-bellied mamots and chipmonks.

This is the nicest campground I've ever been to. It's so well maintained and Doug is the perfect caretaker for such an amazing place. The wildlife is pristine and the fishing is absolutely amazing. Take note, this is not a party campground and it's enforced.
