I can't say enough great things about Dave at Full Motion! Not only is he an incredibly knowledgeable and skilled personal trainer, but he truly goes above and beyond in every aspect. I can’t say enough great things about my experience with Dave! From the moment I started working with him, I felt welcomed and motivated. His ability to tailor workouts specifically to my goals and fitness level has made all the difference. Each session is fresh and exciting, incorporating a variety of exercises that keep me engaged and challenged. I lost about 30lbs while training with him. I highly recommend!

I’ve recently started training with Dave at Full Motion and I honestly wish I started sooner!! Being in my 30s, working a desk job, and inconsistently working out in my 20s for fast “results” left me feeling lost and uninspired. I’m healthy-ish but lazy and feel the aches and pains that come with weakness and inconsistent exercise over the years. My priorities are to improve and maintain long term strength, stability, and functional movement, so I can live a long and healthy life 🙂 That’s what brought me to Full Motion.

I have worked with several personal trainers over the years at big box and boutique gyms in the Hamilton and Toronto area. I feel a noticeable difference with Dave’s approach. I’m never in pain or feel “beat up” after a session. Within a few short weeks, I feel myself growing stronger and more knowledgeable about proper form and how to assess any tightness or weakness to avoid the risk of injury.

What I like most about Dave’s approach:

- He’s very thoughtful when it comes to form and has great cues to help make corrections, so I always feel stable and safe throughout each exercise
- I don’t ever feel like we rush through exercises, which I have felt in the past with other trainers
- He never makes assumptions about what I can or cannot manage in terms of movement or weight
- He takes time to understand my challenges, focuses on the basics so I’m set up for success
- He keeps me informed on the purpose/goal of each exercise and gives me the resources I need to do the work outside of our sessions

I feel myself looking forward to working out now, which is the goal to keeping consistent! I highly recommend Full Motion if you’re like me and looking for a safer, smarter approach to building strength and mobility.

I came to Dave as a new mom feeling stuck, and riddled with new pains and weaknesses that were preventing me from getting closer to my old active self (with some new parameters). Dave listened to my goals and we established a plan for rehabilitation with strength training that was achievable and realistic. I am regaining my strength quicker than I anticipated and am reaching my goals at a steady and measurable pace that feels right for me. So grateful!!
