Excellent customer service!

I brought my desktop computer in to JBJ and their team to help troubleshoot an overheating issue that was causing my office to turn into a sauna while the system was under load (especially during Okanagan summers!). Cindee had an appointment ready for me the same day I called, and their technicians Danielle and Connor were able to bench test my system and offer options for solutions in very short order. Within a week, I had my computer back with replacement components professionally installed, and the heat issue alleviated. They even offered a discount on some of the labour involved during the initial troubleshooting steps.

Very happy with their professionalism, helpful advice and conscientious attitude! Highly recommended.

My computer had a noisy fan but otherwise worked great. They fixed the fan but now the sound no longer works they insinuated that I was not being honest about the sound working before I took it in. they removed the little piece that plugs into the computer for the mouse and didn’t return it. I took the computer back with the mouse so they could find the right doohickey for the mouse. they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the sound and returned my computer without the mouse or the thingie. I don’t trust them to fix my computer. They seem very disorganized

Incredible service and patience from the staff and owner of JBJ. They helped me with a incredibly confusing problem my pc was having. I know a small bit about computers im not a pro but know my way around tech problems. They didnt treat me like I knew nothing and instead allowed me to borrow some parts and test issues out myself at home (my pc was crashing every 45min-5hours it was very hard to test that within working hours). With their help I was able to diagnose the issue. Couldn't be more grateful for their service.

I’d just like to take a moment to thank Cindee Hamilton . I took in my computer yesterday so she could help me transfer some contacts. She happily helped me for a significant amount of time and did everything I asked at no charge . Service was amazing and they will have all my future computer needs

Amazing service and knowledgeable freindly staff. I was in a bind. My laptop screen broke when I opened it. I was able to connect a second screen to get it working but the work I do needs two screens. They found an adapter that works with my computer in store and tested it while i was there to make sure it worked. I have have 2 screens to work on while they order the parts to fix my broken screen. Top notch service! They went above and beyond to help me in a pickle. Highly recommend if you're having computer trouble.

Was in the neighborhood and dropped.by as my laptop was not uploading properly. They were welcoming and took the time to hear my concerns. They fixed it and would not charge me. What a great business and crew! I will travel 1 1/2 hours next time I need help with my laptop!

My experience is a tough one. I handed an $800 computer with power button issue. They reached out to me later that apart from the power button, it also had issues with the motherboard.

This was quite strange because there was absolutely nothing wrong with the motherboard. They gave me a quote to fix it which upon second thought I felt was not needed. By that time, I had traveled out of town. I was contacted by them on whether they should keep or recycle my device which I told them I was out of town and that they should keep it for me.

My device had been with them for about 6months, on my arrival to pick it up, they had recycled the 1T SSD, 16GB RAM on the excuse that they don’t want anyone to lay hands on my documents. The device itself was still there, it was only after I had spoken to the receptionist upon my return that the 16GB RAM was reinstalled leaving an empty SSD slot.

I left the shop disappointed that at least I could not go back with my computer just as I gave it to them. I picked it up in a worse condition.
2 days after picking it up from the store, a friend fixed the power button, gifted me a 120GB SSD, reinstalled Windows etc. NO MOTHERBOARD ISSUE WAS DETECTED.

I've been impressed with JBJ since moving to Vernon 20 years ago, always getting good service and value. The computer I just retired lasted 17 years with their help. I hope the custom PC they helped me build to replace it can go that kind of distance too
