Ballet by the Ocean was such a beautiful immersive experience of dance, nature and food. We will be back next season to enjoy this incredible event in New Brunswick again.

Yesterday I had one of the most fantastic experiences I can remember - Ballet by The Ocean.

For those who appreciate the beauty - this is a "must have". There are no words to explain, and no camera can get even close to the beauty Atlantic Ballet Atlantique Canada #BBTO2024 brings into your life:

The Spirit of the Atlantic Ocean & The Maritime Culture in it's best form combined:

✨ Stunning ocean views
✨ Incredibly harmonious human touch inside the wild area
✨ Absolutely astonishing ballet performance (I'm biased here, as ballet & the ocean are my top passions in life. Performers made me cry, they made me laugh, they made me forget for the moment the world around me exists...)
✨ Marvelous music (with the "cherry on top" - Winter from my favourite Vivaldi Concert)
✨ The Delicious food
✨ The Wine from the oldest Atlantic Canada winery (which I had not tried as I was driving, but trust me, I almost felt the breath of the wind in the strawberry & grape fields, and the taste of wine made with love, while listening to the winery owner story)
✨ Beautiful young volunteers from the ballet (who definitely "throw me" more 20 years back into my childhood, when I was dancing... Their hair styles, their forms, and their bright eyes, when they were watching older pears on stage - that made my day!)
✨ Indigenous art work
✨ Wonderful host (Moncton local artist)
And so much more!!

All of this - so harmonious, so incredibly beautiful... thank you to the property owner, founders, sponsors and leaders who made this life! Your passion, your love to art in every form, and your love and great sense of the beauty made this possible.

Last night I went to see Phantom of the Opera and it was quite disappointing... this rating is not for the dancers as they did amazing for what they had to work with. The props were fake body's made out of grey foam and they were all tapped up? The mask for the phantom wasn't even the Phantoms mask. The main Female dancers (she had beautiful form and was very graceful) it looked like her costume was ripped on the side? The Phantoms makeup looked like purple paint with black contour So many things could have been done better. The choreography was lacking and it seemed the same moves were over used and didn't tell the story at all. Non of this falls of the dancers. This is on management and those in charge of the show. To the dancers, you all did amazing. To those in charge of the show please do better for your talented dancers. For $55+ per person you can afford better props, makeup, and better show execution.

DO NOT SUPPORT OR WATCH ATLANTIC BALLET!!!
They overwork their dancers, don’t pay them on time and their quality of performance is next to amateur. The director clearly needs to retire. If you want to see authentic classical ballet, please go anywhere else.
