The horses at Aisling are beautiful, but most are in no condition to be ridden. For the 7 months my daughter was there, she cleaned stalls, tackled up the horse then was led around on a lead rope by a child themselves. All within a one hour "lesson" span. There was no advancement. 10 other girls she rides with at her new stables had the same experience as we did with Aisling. Your child will fall in love with the horses, and yours will break at seeing the conditions they're kept in outdoors. The owner should not be running an equestrian business

Aisling Ridge Equestrian is a wonderful facility that not only empowers people but empowers horses. This facility is clean with large, wide open spaces that allows their horses to live in a natural and balanced environment. In 2019 our daughter Willow decided it was time to find a barn in the Niagara region that felt like family, a barn where she felt at home. A place where the horses were provided a physical, mental and emotionally healthy home. Aisling Ridge is that barn and we couldn’t be more thankful—Willow has found her home and not one dinner table conversation goes without a mention of Leigh-Ann and her horses at Aisling Ridge.

My daughter and I have been riding at Aisling Ridge Equestrian for over 5 years now. Aisling Ridge Equestrian is not only a riding stable but a safe friendly environment for my daughter to be a part of. My daughter and I have met some of the most amazing young and older people who are now considered good friends and she thoroughly loves to go spend time at the barn with them and the horses. Not only is Leigh-Ann and her horses amazing, Leigh-Ann also encourages any person who wants to be around the horses and the therapy of being around the horse. Her doors are always open for any one to come spend time around the barn. I highly recommend anyone at any age, at any level consider joining our barn family at Aisling Ridge, you are always welcome!

I have been taking lessons with Leigh Ann since September. I find her very patient calm and encouraging.
My experience at Aisling Ridge has been excellent. Her rates are reasonable and the loving care she provides her horses is amazing.

I have been accessing lessons from Leigh Ann Verge since the centre opened.
Immediately I felt very comfortable with the facility and with Leigh Ann who provides my instruction.
I have been met with patience, kindness, education and encouragement. In particular I am appreciative of Leigh Anne’s philosophy, knowledge, care and respect for horses. The barn is a new and well kept facility. Leigh Ann is always able to demonstrate or find a way to verbalize instructions in a way that I can understand. She has a positive outlook and good sense of humour. After trying a few different riding schools, I’ve found this one to be the best quality In what is offered and reasonably priced. I would recommend this riding centre.

Aisling Ridge has a welcoming atmosphere ideal for growth in the art of riding. My technique and confidence have really advanced under the direction of Leigh-Ann. I’ve learned that horse and rider are a team and how to communicate through body language and the importance of balance. The arena has a generous viewing room and washroom facilities are on the premises.

We have dealt with this stable for quite some time. Their policies around deposits, liability and refunds are questionable.

If you want to cancel, you must cancel months in advance to get your deposit back...

During the covid closure, the owner was asking customers for donations and wanted to invoice for lessons that could not be given. This seemed odd...is this a barn or a charity? I get that they needed money but this seemed a bit shady.....how can you invoice for lessons when you are closed.

When i said that I wanted to be credited, upon reopening, for all the funds I had already paid, the response was a series of aggressive emails that were so unprofessional that I was astonished. In fact...I was so shocked that I felt I could not really trust this barn with the safety of my child any longer. Clearly, the owner was on edge but why take it out on a paying customer.

When they reopened, they were only offering spots to people who had donated to the barn during the closure...despite many people having already paid for lessons and deposits....unethical!

Sounds a bit shady to me...trot on by this barn...there are so many in the area that I am sure you can find an owner who is professional.

I can’t say enough about my granddaughter’s great experience at camp! She is a regular rider at Aisling and they outdid themselves with all of the various activities! The daily crafts were amazing! Thank you Leigh-Ann and staff!
