My WFR Bridge course experience at Paddlefoot was awesome. Pre-course work will get you up to speed and well prepared for your certification. Rob made the course fun and extremely engaging. The location is very comfortable and there’s an option to purchase a meal plan which I regret not partaking in because the food looked amazing! Thanks for a great course, I came out of it with a ton of knowledge. I’ll be back for recerts!

I attended the 4 day Wilderness Advance First Aid course at Paddlefoot and it was such an incredible experience! Thoroughly educational for anyone who spends any time outside. I am a novice at "wilderness adventures" as I don't white-water raft, I don't mountaineer, I'm not a nurse and really came into this course knowing very little other than just enjoying being outdoors and camping and hiking with my dog.
I learned so much in such a short amount of time and had a blast too. Rob is an incredible teacher - he makes learning fun! He really made us all feel confident learning about wilderness safety and what to do in emergencies. I now feel prepared to go on longer camping/ hiking trips. While I don't ever really want to have to use some of the skills we learned (like resetting a broken arm!) I feel more confident that I will know what to do and how to react in emergencies. The food was delicious and healthy and abundant! The lodge is stunning, the rooms were comfy and cozy and the lake was beautiful and warm. My only wish is to have been able to stay longer! I am definitely coming back for the Wilderness First Responder course.

I've been with PaddleFoot for 1 certification and 2 re-certs for my WFR qualification. Their operation is fantastic, with incredibly knowledgeable instructors who truly know how to relate and teach. I'm looking forward to my next re-cert with PaddleFoot in 3 years time, and also taking on additional training between now and then!

Thank you, PaddleFoot!
