Absolutely stunning 😍
A must see if you're in Bancroft!!
Drive is 1 minute up the mountain. Parking was available for free.
We chose the yellow accessible trail. Walk was about 5-10 minutes to the lookout. There are benches to rest along the way. It's gorgeous and you are surrounded by trees.
Once you're at the lookout they do have a donation box to help preserve and maintain these parks. The lookout has a bench and sturdy fence. The view was spectacular! Absolutely beautiful 😍 we saw the Tim's and went there after to snap a pic of the mountain we just came from.

I visited Eagle’s Nest in Bancroft last fall and can’t believe I missed leaving a review for this breathtaking spot! 🍂 The views are simply stunning, with endless forests painted in fall colors and the kind of peaceful atmosphere that makes you pause and just take it all in. 🦅 It’s a perfect place to hike, relax, and reconnect with nature. Even months later, the memory still makes me smile. Truly a hidden gem in Ontario—absolutely worth the trip! 🌄

This place is so much fun and super accessible. There’s a wheelchair accessible route. And the most difficult routes the ones that say expert or whatever do not be intimidated they’re not expert roots for expert hikers and athletes. Their expert roots for asthmatic kind of chunky people. So as a former asthmatic chunky person, I would’ve been able to do the expert roots no problem if you’re a little worried, check out the easy one and then you’ll have full confidence in the more difficult routes. They’re just slightly more appeal. They’re super easy to traverse and they have a lot of really cool. Lookout points. This was a very beautiful place to visit. I absolutely recommend checking out all the trails. I also recommend not going to Northern Ontario till August because of the bugs but otherwise what a beautiful place there were basically no mosquitoes bothering me because we went in August.

Nice spot to enjoy views of the sunset over surrounding hills from a wooden viewing platform. There are some short trails that you can do. Especially during the autumn, if you are passing through Bancroft then you could plan to come here to enjoy fall colours otherwise not worth the long drive if you’re coming from a far.
Parking lot is decent- one is for normal parking which is at lower level of the road almost at the very end and other parking lot which is just a few metres up is for accessible parking. 2 porta potties are available at top.

Must visit if you’re staying in the area. Great trails, and the lookout view is stunning. Bring your camera, we saw eagles, birds and even a few snakes sunning themselves on the many large rock formations.

I went to this spot for the first time ever and it was nice to do so.. The trail to the site is lightning as well as it is easy to use.. There are 2 portable toilet plus many bench for rest.
