I recommend Alliance Française- Markham campus! Mr Jean, who manages the centre is extremely helpful and always assists us promptly with any queries we have. They have an amazing team as well! I am really happy I found a place where my son can continue to learn and practice his french, given that french is our first language. They are very professional and the materials given as well are very helpful. More importantly, my son looks forward to his classes as they are fun, interactive and educational. Thank you to the wonderful team for always going the extra mile!

I’m currently in DP1 and since January, I’ve had Madame Wong (Virginie Wong) as my IB French SL teacher at Alliance Francais and I’ve noticed my French improve drastically. With my whole class, she helped us target different aspects of SL French, from oral comprehension, oral production, reading comprehension and mastering writing different text types, and also taught us effective and practical strategies to target those areas. Her teaching style is engaging, supportive and encouraging. Thanks to Mme. Wong, I feel much more prepared and confident in the IB French course.

My daughter has been studying at Alliance Francaise Toronto - Markham Campus for about 5 years now, and I have to say that I am very happy with the results. The staff at the school are very friendly and polite, and they have helped my daughter meet all the requirements to succeed in the French language.

I especially give my thanks to Madame Virginie Wong (a teacher) and Monsieur Jean How (the principal), they have both helped my daughter the most. Significantly, with helping my daughter in spelling and grammar in french. Madame Virginie and Monsieur Jean promote a fun atmosphere according to my daughter. Madame Virginie makes learning fun but she is also attentive to grammatical, spelling and speaking errors. Although my daughter still has some errors to correct in her spelling, she is progressing well.

My daughter has progressed from the beginner level to the intermediate (B1) and I’ve found it to be an excellent learning environment.

Another highlight of the school is the extracurricular excursions, as they are the best way to practice French. This makes the stay at the school more enjoyable and effective.

Overall, our time at Alliance Francaise Toronto - Markham Campus has been extremely rewarding.

The combination of excellent teaching, effective materials, and a diverse community made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Alliance Francaise Toronto - Markham Campus for anyone looking to enhance their French skills.

My daughter has been taking weekly online private French class for almost a year now. She is now in Grade 6. We see huge improvements in her pronunciation and listening skills. She’s also a much more confident speaker now. Our teacher is very experienced and very encouraging. My daughter didn’t start liking French until she started her class with Alliance Francaise. Now she loves French and looks forward to her weekly class. Recently her teacher at day school picked her to participate in a French competition. My husband and I are very happy with her progress. Jean from Markham campus is very responsive and always available when I have questions. He always returns my calls same day or next day and sometimes even outside of office hours. Overall, my husband and I are super happy with Alliance Francaise Markham and their services.

Our elder daughter has been learning French in this campus for almost 3 years. She had moved up several levels and had various different teachers in this campus. Her French improved significantly and she likes to go there every week. The teachers are in general engaging and they do care students progress.

The staff there are nice and friendly. They are patient and willing to answer any questions you have. We are now sending both our daughters to this campus for French learning. We highly recommend this campus.

Have been taking my kid to this place for over 2 years now. The improvement in her language skills are evident by the work put in by the teachers. The principal Mr. Jean knows almost all the kids and parents by their first name and takes time to interact them at every class. The front desk Staff are nice and helpful as well. My kid seems confident speaking in French and is picking up the language well, inspite of not being in a French Immersion program. Would definitely recommend this place to those wanting their kids to learn French.
