I had such a positive experience at Redwood Beauty College. The instruction from Mina was knowledgeable, supportive, and hands-on — she truly made the learning engaging and practical. The school is equipped with up-to-date machines and products, which gave me real confidence working with the tools and treatments used in today’s industry.

I especially appreciated how much hands-on practice we received, including the flexibility to bring in as many models as we wanted. The environment was welcoming and professional, always on point with current trends and information.

I also like that there are additional courses available for graduates who want to keep building their skills. Overall, it was an excellent program that has prepared me well for working in the field. I would highly recommend the college & Mina!

I recently completed the Phlebotomy course at Redwood College , and I can confidently say it was one of the most rewarding educational experiences I’ve had . The program exceeded my expectations in every way , and a large part of that was due to the incredible guidance and support by Nurse Mina . From day one , Nurse Mina created a welcoming and encouraging learning environment. Her passion for teaching and deep expertise in Phlebotomy made everything feel at ease . What stood out most was her patience and dedication , she never hesitated to offer one -on-one support when needed , and her constructive feedback truly helped me grow in both confidence and competence. Very pleased with my experience at Redwood for both Medical Aesthetics and Phlebotomy.

Mina is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the client experience and the beauty industry as a whole, which really made the learning experience enjoyable. She explained everything in a way that was easily digestible and made learning detail oriented services very approachable.

I had previously left a 5-star review, but I’d like to update it to less stars because of a few changes. The instructor mentioned that she would continue to provide support even after the course, so I tried reaching out to her through the school with a few questions. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get in touch directly, which was a bit disappointing. I do follow the instructor on Instagram, but since we don’t follow each other back, I couldn’t contact her personally. Still, I really appreciated that the school was very responsive whenever I reached out with inquiries. I also requested a certificate, and they kindly sent it to me, which was very helpful.

Ms. Kathy is THAT girl.

Ms. Kathy is honestly one of the best instructors I’ve ever had. She makes learning makeup so fun, chill, and actually understandable. Whether you’re a beginner or already know a bit, she meets you where you’re at and helps you level up with so much patience and positivity.

She explains everything so clearly, gives amazing tips, and always makes sure you feel confident with your work. You can tell she really cares about her students and wants everyone to succeed. Plus, her energy is just chef’s kiss — always good vibes in class.
