The HBEC is excellent; if you are or are becoming an entrepreneur, this is the place you should go. Their support is wonderful; you can access mentoring, tools and programs to help you with your business. I recommend the Further Faster Program; they help you build a strong business plan and better understand all the steps you need to do to be successful. They have a Pitch Competition, and they did share who the judges were, the details of the Competition, and the top 3 pitches that were invited to participate in the Finals. People there are amazing, and they do everything they can to help you get what you need; I highly recommend it.

Ive had a really great experience with the team at HBEC - they’re very kind and helpful and always involving me in new exciting business opportunities. I’ve taken Further Faster, and participated in the 2021 RISE summit as well as the latest grand pitch competition, all of which were overwhelmingly positive experiences. I highly recommend Don, Rob, Sara & Jenna and the rest of the team at HBEC if you’re looking for entrepreneurship guidance.

FF is a fantastic program for entrepreneurs to get their business to the next level. The professors/mentors are exceptional and go above and beyond to help you get what you need and understand your business and where you wish to go with it.

Beware. We had horrible experiences with the HBEC. They ran a 'South Georgian Bay Excite Pitch Competition', that we were a part of. We did not make the finals, which didn't bother us, it was the fact that they refused to: 1. Tell us why. 2. Disclose who and what companies DID make the top 8 as finalists. 3. When and where the final competition was. 4. Who were the judges? 5. Who was in attendance for the competition? We asked SEVERAL times for this info, and they still refuse any disclosure. There was no media coverage, like there was the year before. When we pressed for answers, they sent us a letter from a random Lawyer, asking us to stop. We WON'T EVER STOP, until we get those answers. SHAME ON YOU, HBEC! Run away from this place as fast as you can!!!!!
