I don’t usually write reviews but I had to write this one. I have two children with special needs and have been working with our coordinator Courtney at Bluewater for a year now. She is amazing! She continually goes above and beyond for both of my kiddos and the whole family. We are so appreciative and thankful that we were connected with such an awesome person! If you’re looking for respite for a family member with special needs, especially if you have someone with ASD, this is the person (and place) to go to!!!
We have dealt with so many service providers on this journey with our kids and Courtney has (by far) been one of the easiest, most helpful, understanding and friendliest people we have dealt with. We are so grateful to her and for everything she does for our family! We hope to continue our relationship with them for as long as we are able to!!!
Bluewater is so lucky to have such an awesome person working hard on their team!

Bluewater respite has provided respite care for our family for over six years!! The owner Manny and our Coordinator Tammy have been exceptional!! They have embraced our family and supported us through good times and very trying times through sickness and the struggles of losing family members!! Their kindness and support never to be forgotten . Tammy has always been there in crisis very professional and caring!! They have always tried their best to find excellent support staff that match my sons personality and find staff that are genuine and caring! Tammy has always been there when I call and will do her very best to support our family!! Thankyou to Bluewater for all your support throughout the years!!

Tammy and her staff at Bluewater are amazing! They run a tight ship and truest care for their clients. My son loves his staff but knows he can’t push them. It takes a certain kind of person to be able to be firm but fair with kids like my son, with behaviours that regular people have difficulty handling. I would recommend Tammy and her staff to anyone who asks, I wouldn’t trust my sone with anyone else! Thank you Tammy and your team!

We were referred by Urgent Response for my 4 year old son in London. We constantly had no shows by staff with no communication, because Tammy does not know how to schedule properly.
Tammy is the worst supervisor. Cannot make a schedule work for any clients or staff, even with an assistant. Blatantly ignores questions. Lets her staff steal!!!! I have been contacting her for two months, for a worker to return protective sleeves I PROVIDED SO THEY WOULD BE SAFE WITH MY SON, and she hasnt had the decency to even address it, URS staff also reached out to her over this.

3 months of services and there was very few weeks we got our 15 hours because of her.

There was 4 different people who worked with my son, and only 1 was good with him and us.

Do not recommend, more harm than good for routine based children. Will steal your PPE.

Hi my name is Marko. I was a client with BlueWater Respite and I have nothing bad to say about the company. The owner of BlueWater respite (Manny) was always so kind to me and went out of his way to make me happy. He literally drove 2 hours to work with me when there was a staff shortage. He always made sure that I was safe while still having fun. I wasn’t an easy client to work with. I was aggressive, mean, and sometimes physical. That didn’t stop manny from working with me. he didn’t give up even when I was making it difficult for him and his staff. I also loved Tammy. She was amazing to me and we had so much fun. I literally miss her so much. I don’t know why people keep on saying she is not a good coordinator. I can’t talk for other people but for my experience she was so kind and was always communicating with my mom and making sure that I had the best care possible. I left Bluewater respite to go with another company and that was a mistake. I just want to say thank you to Manny and all of his staff for supporting me and not giving up on me.

We had a terrible experience with Bluewater Respite (with one of the coordinators in the London area). We were referred by Urgent Response Services for our son, through the Ontario Autism Program. The workers we were provided were a terrible match for our family. They both had very little experience, although I was told differently. Our main “support” worker didn’t understand what redirecting, blocking or ignoring a behaviour meant.

For a child that was referred due to severe self harm, I would have hoped I could have selected a worker for him.

We were over promised and under delivered right from the beginning … So many red flags with our experience.

I can’t speak for this company as an entirety; but the coordinator and support staff we were provided, here in London were awful.

I love Melanie at blue waters she amazing I had some issues with respite workers at the beginning last summer and she helped fix everything and my daughter got a respite worker name Jodi who she in love with and they have an amazing bond and connection I'm so glad that my daughter could meet someone like this and make this type of connection.
