We use this Hotel for both business and family travel accommodations and love everything about it - staff is professional and friendly and accommodating to our request to be near each other, the rooms are comfortable and always VERY clean, we appreciate all of the soap products provided and also the heavy duty paper towel for wipe ups! The breakfast has a lot of options and is tasty, the hotel is quiet and conveniently located near shopping and restaurants - both within walking distance. This last stay was with our extended family so the kids loved the pool and hot tub and we had a fantastic Suite for the family with young children - the extra bedroom made it easy for the kids to go to bed whilst the adults could still be visiting in the main room. We didn't use the kitchen of the suite but it looked to be well stocked and definitely would be helpful for a longer stay. Highly recommend!

Stayed here the night of our wedding as the options were very limited in the area, the room itself was okay. We stayed in a suite, was expecting the bed to be more comfortable. The shower had 2 large clumps of hair left on the walls so I question how good the room was actually cleaned since they were in plain sight when you looked in the shower.

This was a comfy laid back hotel. Pool was great for my Granddaughter and workout room for my friends! Staff was pleasant and professional and shared in a Coffee Cake we busted open for ourselves.
Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. I brought my own pillows!

I am half way through a 3 day stay and I am loving it. The staff is very nice. The pool, hot tub and steam room are excellent. The free breakfast has scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausages, pancakes, bagels, toast, pastries, cereal, 3 kinds of juice and coffee and it runs till 10 am.

Our room is clean and spacious. The blackout curtains are a bonus.

Only complaint I have is that the TV is small and doesn't allow you to use YouTube or any streaming services even if you have your own subscription.

Clean and nice rooms, TV channels are lacking a bit. But the real downer is the pancake printer NEVER works. And its not the Canaltas fault. Its a great idea but the machine is always messed up. Bring back the waffle maker and you got yourself a 5 star rating.

We stay in a lot of hotels and this was one of the definite good ones. It was super clean, nicely updated, comfortable, and met all of our needs. Even the breakfast was good, and I’m usually grossed out by a hot breakfast at hotels. Highly recommend!

Our family and extended families booked approximately 14 rooms for 2 nights while in Selkirk for a celebration of life. Overall, the stay was fine, but I was shocked at how the hotel handled our request to use the conference room.||We used the space for less than 2 hours, with no setup, no catering, no beverage service — and yet were billed $210. When I raised this with Donna, the GM, she explained that if we had used the room for 4 hours, it would have been $350. Honestly, what kind of logic is that? For families booking so many rooms and supporting the hotel with significant business, this felt like nickel-and-diming at its worst.||The lack of flexibility and empathy, especially considering the reason for our stay, left a sour taste. It turned what could have been a positive experience into a very disappointing one.||I would strongly caution others planning group stays or family gatherings here — ask every little detail in advance
