We had a great experience with LIV OUTSIDE. We rent 6 recreational kayaks for 4 hours. The rental is reasonable, and they have options to suit different needs.

The store is in a perfect location. The staff was helpful and friendly. They helped us prepare and set up the kayaks right next to the Muskoka River.

We headed west to Lake Muskoka. The scenery along the river was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this place to outdoor lovers.

Came to this store looking for a fishing kayak. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful and ended up with the kayak I had in mind and was very happy with it. I had such a good experience here that I have now gone back for all my paddling needs and wants including PFD, paddles and a 2nd kayak for my wife. Thanks to LIV Outside!

Definitely recommend!
You’re greeted at the door by two gorgeous and friendly Australian shepherds.
The place is spotless and well organized.
The owner was incredibly helpful with picking out the right boat for my skill level(which happens to be exactly zero!).
No upselling,just practical advice and a great atmosphere.

Highly recommend Liv Outside. From start to finish, our experience was organized, safe & fun. We rented a 1 hr tandem kayak. Brock was very helpful & friendly. He guided us into the kayak & told us exactly where to go to reach our 1 hr mark. The river was safe & beautiful for beginners. Can’t wait to return.

Just bought the Crescent Shoalie from here. I did a lot of research online until I decided on this one… I’ve been out with it twice and it is everything I wanted. Super maneuverable which is great for creeks. This is what I wanted to get me into places where boats can’t go, the path less traveled is where the trophy fish are! Well worth the drive from Toronto!

Recently stopped at Liv outside an bought a Cresent kayak, they were very welcoming and friendly. They had easily the biggest yak attack kayak accessories selection I’ve ever seen here in Ontario. If your in the area I would 100% stop by and check them out. I’ll definitely be a repeating customer

I had a great time here, they have a nice jump off point with great access. Nice facility with picnic areas. Huge selection of every kind of watercraft to try out. Anything to suit your whim! The store has all kinds of goodies for those who love gear. Nice people who love to help you get out on the water.

I had an amazing time here. I came with 2 friends on Sunday August 4th. First time visiting Muskoka, the staff are very friendly. They helped us wear our safety jackets and Brock helped us get in the Kayak with a special technique which made it easier for me as a first timer. Brock was amazing, very patient and cheerful guy. I definitely recommend this place especially for beginners. The river is calm, with breathtaking scenery it is also very safe. I was nervous just in the first few seconds after that I was fine and enjoyed one full hour tour paddling behind my friend. I would love to come back!
