Love the people over at ODSP and I can't thank them enough for all of their help and insight when it comes to me trying to find things for my children to do in the city and programs to get them into. The workers here are extremely patient and all deserve a raise

It is ridiculous. I have tried 3 times this week to get ahold of my worker, I seem to get new one at least once a week, Message on answering machine is from December 29, You never get ahold of anyone and take forever to get back to you

When I do ask for help, they are very accommodating, but I don't like the fact that they are not at their desk much whenever I call. Reception is usually there, though.

I used to have a great worker named Christine. She was professional and treated me like a valuable person. She understood my unique disability and always tried to make things easier for me. Then my file was transferred to a new worker who shall remain nameless due to fears of retaliation. This worker treats me like a dirtbag. She grills me about everything. She will argue a point endlessly instead of just looking up the policy directive. Which proves her wrong so she won't do it. She is unreasonable and rude. I am in fear of my pitiful income support being cut off because she cannot do her job.
So in a nutshell, your odsp experience will depend greatly on who your assigned case worker is.

If your caseworker is angry at the world....you will get subpar at best treatment! What a joke these folks are!!!
