The staff were very nice to me, the offered me warm blankets and but the doctors were kinda asses ngl. They weren’t understanding of my pain. I had dislocated my elbow and this nurse grabs my arm and forcefully pulls it into position for the x ray machine. Other than this the staff were pretty nice and would check up on me. The atmosphere felt decent (which is good for a hospital. Then after the doctor took care of me i left beings assured McMaster would take care of me

Today Sept 3, 2024. A very ignorant, hostile nurse wearing green OR scrubs and a white lab coat was above and beyond unprofessional and heartless with my sister. My sister went in for some tests at 1030 this am and returned to the waiting room without batting an eyelash. After more than 4 hours and people coming and going long after her was told she would NOT be getting a room and would receive her results in the waiting room.
First off not only is that unacceptable but a breach of confidentiality. The entire waiting room is not privy to that information.
When the same nurse was politely asked when it would be her time to see the Dr. This so called public figure called a NURSE told my sister VERY rudely to be patient there were other people there besides her.
She has not been checked on, offered medication for pain or even water in over 7 hrs.
This poor excuse for a nurse should be ashamed of herself.
As for the Dr., we get emergencies come first. But when things settle it wouldnt kill you to give someone their results and send them on their way. 10 minutes to ease a patient and let them know what's going on so they can go home to rest is NOT asking a lot.
As for the pathetic excuse for a nurse. I will find your name and report you not only to the hospital but ONA as well.
You're behavior makes me sick!
If I could give zero Stars and a negative number I would however Google's much nicer than I am.

The 3rd floor staff of Nurses, Physio, Drs. and coordinators were so compassionate, supportive and encouraging with our dad while he was in their care the past 3 weeks. We also had them with us through our mom’s passing in July, and can’t express our sincere thanks for their care.

Went in for an x ray 9:36am Monday morning. Gave my health card to the friendly receptionist before I dealt with a lovely x ray tech named Becky and walked out at 9:45 with x rays completed, doctor called with results less than 30 minutes after that. Place was clean, comfortable and friendly.

Been here multiple times for various reasons, each time I was stuck here for a minimum of 4 hours and up to over 6 hours. Extremely slow no updates or communication from nurses. When I asked if a doctor will see me soon was just told “I don’t know”. Maybe don’t go into this line of work if you don’t care about people? Place is disgusting and dirty, there was a patient just picking in the hall waiting to be seen and they were just left there for an hour. Better off going into Hamilton or literally any other hospital then this place. What a waste of our taxes on this useless hospital.

I brought my daughter to the hospital today , she was seen within 45 mins . Fastest walkin emergency service. Thank you to the hospital staff and doctors. I only wish they could do the test there only rather than referring back to the family doctor to follow up but no complaints they gave her medication after check up and asked to follow up with the family doctor for further tests.

I went to the emergency on 2 occasions where I required a blood transfusion. On both occasions, I was treated and diagnosed very quickly. I was also treated professionally by both the on-duty Dr as well as the nursing staff. I have nothing but positive and good things to say about my treatment as a patient and would highly recommend potential patients to consider this hospital for their medical requirements. The real bonus is time. My whole experience to obtain 3 units of blood as well as followup bloodwork took 6 hrs. My time spent in a hallway of a larger hospital for 2 units of blood was 12 hours.

I came in with so much pain in my stomach the fast tracked me right away gave me a bed. Everyone was trying there best to find out what was going on, did urine test, X-rays, ultra sounds etc

Dr rahim, nurses were all great even though I was in so much pain they quickly gave me so many pain killers to see what was going on. Don’t agree with all the negative reviews. If it is not serous probably will have to wait some time like every hospital. But didn’t find they were rude or anything.
