Brendan was an amazing instructor. He was very thorough but made it fun and interesting. He was great at keeping the class engaged while teaching. Very polite, professional, and friendly.

Have had my First Aid Training done recently and I really enjoyed the company of my colleagues/classmates and of course with instructor Judy. Learning was fun and no boring moments most especially with doing the scenarios with partners. Highly recommended to do this training and I've learnt a lot more!

My real name is Andrew, I was a student at AHASTI taking the Advanced First Aid course. The course itself was absolutely fantastic! From the first phone call the administrative staff were friendly and helpful at every step of the way getting me prepared for the course. What really stood out to me was how absolutely excellent of an instructor Brendan was. His depth of knowledge regarding course material was exceptional and obviously built over many years in the pre-hospital care industry. If at first it seems overwhelming, don't worry, Brendan is a very capable instructor and will review key material almost daily and will happily work with you until you are both capable and confident in your skills. After taking Brendan's class I feel highly confident in my abilities and am excited to get my career started in this industry! Thank you so much Brendan and the AHASTI team for offering and delivering such an excellent course.

I had Bob as my instructor for my training and he really had a way of keeping one’s attention. I was treated to being the only person in the class that day on a last minute booking. I’m usually not to good with tests and more of a hands on learner but with Bob and the way he approached the topics and keeping one’s interest I was able to retain the info. Highly recommend the course with Bob.

The course was well laid out, fairly easy to understand and the teacher kept us awake and engaged with all the different methods of teaching. The only complaint I had was not receiving the textbook and workbook until a few days prior to the course. The amount of homework is hard when you have kids and events outside of the course that take precedence. Given more time and a basic outline it would have been easier to complete

I did my psychological first aid with angel and unfortunately I didn't get the email (it went into my junk folder) with all the tasks I had to prepare prior to the course. I wasn't prepared and I felt so ashamed and embarrassed and overwhelmed and she took time from her break to help me. She shouldnt of had to do that but I am so grateful she did! Thank you so much!
