Pretty crazy that if you pay for a course that’s almost a year out and can’t make the course date (prior obligations) they steal your money. $522 down the drain. 0 help from anyone working here.

They held my bluebook for ransom because I owed ei money. Then after I paid ei. They denied holding my blue book for ransom. They lost it with over 10 000 hours. Almost 30 years in the trade and now I'm out. Because of this.
Document everything you do with them.
Do it by email only so you have copies and can hold them accountable for there criminal actions.

I'd give less stars if it were possible. Completely useless organization staffed by the most unhelpful, unwilling and non-communicative people I think I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Instead of helping you with your request, their default response is to send you to some barely functioning government website with absolutely no direction whatsoever. They act as if the things you need help with are only possible through the website. their dirty little secret though is that they can actually help you with any registrations, payments etc. over the phone but they just don't want to.

Everyone here needs to be fired. Overpaid, lazy government employees. Id like to see them last a day in the professions they are supposed to be helping people get training for.

Consultants have zero concentration on your issue, you feel like the only thing they desired is to get rid of you.

I love the idea of the apprenticeship, it's subsidized so pay very minimal amounts to go to school and you get the work experience in between to help grow your knowledge. My issues with it we're that they had misplaced my original application and told me I would have to reapply, a few days later a noticed the processing fee taken out of my account. I guess they found it which was good but no phone call or email to let me know. The absolute worst part for me is the application process, first come first serve starting on whatever day they choose. It's nearly impossible to get through the website crashes due to the amount of traffic and I even had it where my course wasn't set up properly in their system. It is a very stressful day. There are lots of people who are great for support along the way and I recommend not waiting to ask questions

Spoke with the most condescending and rude employee. I only had a couple simple questions she made it unnecessarily difficult and laughed at me on two occasions. I asked for her name and she hung up on me. Now I've been on hold for over 30 minutes. These people represent the government look at thier rating it's embarrassing.

Required assistance to complete my apprenticeship application and was a little confused with their new applications. Walked in with all my papers, but no appointment. Receptionist was super friendly, polite, and extremely patient with the clients in front of me which clearly were speaking french or english as a second language. She apologized for the wait, which at most was 5 minutes as she dealt with 4 other clients, was understanding of my situation and told me a coordinator would call me into their office shortly.
Another 5 minutes passed and I was called in. Coordinator had a great sense of humour and seemed happy to be there. Admittedly, he was just as confused as I was about the new forms, but he assured me it would work and he took all the paperwork and info I had. Over all a very smooth and stress free experience.
Super grateful for their help!
