I'm blown away by the selection of tools and hardware they pack into a modest space. Quality products sold at prices that are competitive with big box hardware stores. Very thankful to have this shop downtown.

Ordered a several times online since they were the only art store in Ontario that carried the specific item I used. The shipping was fast enough, however the way they packed my package was unthoughtful and unprofessional. Sticking just a piece of Kraft paper in the box was their way to protect art materials. Their customer service was standoffish and unhelpful, I will not order from them again.

Cute art supply store (with a good variety of yard/wood tools as well) at reasonable prices.
The staff were kind, we visited during Art after dark.

I’ve been to this store twice, the first time was good, staff was friendly. Asked if I needed help. The store has a good selection of product and good pricing. But today was my second time here, I got some TomBow markers, I come home to try them out on a piece I’m working on and they are dry and barely working, so I swatched them. I e-mailed the store to see if I can get an exchange since I was there just before close, if not I personally won’t be back again. But I read the receipt shortly after doing that, to see it say markers are final sale. I get that, I’ve worked customer service since I was a teen and I’ve worked at an art store. So I’m hoping they see this should be exchanged since it’s not my fault it was dry like that. But like I said, if not I won’t be coming back and have wasted some of my money. I will edit this when a solution happens.

EDIT; I went in the next day, after I got an e-mail saying they would, this one time exchange the markers for me. The manager and owner were amazing. Thanks again!

I am a professional artist and I had the nicest time buying today from this store. Tory and Jillian were so knowledgeable and helpful. I went to buy one tube of paint and ended up buying much more, as the prices were great and sales people were also. It was the best retail experience I've had in years! Thank you.

i really like art noise, and i go frequently to buy supplies for journaling and sketching (fountain pens, journals, pencils and pencil crayons). the staff are all lovely. unfortunately, i had a really uncomfortable experience with the security guard. i was blatantly singled out and followed around the store and it was clear that the man was trying to intimidate me (staring at me blankly, refusing to avert eye contact without saying a word). i’d also note that this aggressive eye contact was never directed at my boyfriend. i guess it’s easier to feel powerful when you’re making a woman uncomfortable.

i didn’t have a large bag or a backpack. he even went so far as to stand BESIDE me while i was in the process of checking out and collecting my membership points. so weird. i enjoy the store for its convenience , but everything they sell can be bought elsewhere, and if that’s the experience i can expect upon entering i’ll be making my purchases online from now on.

Since I've discovered Art Noise, I try to go in person every six months (they have a gallery in the back).

They seduced me by first asking if I needed "artist quality" supplies-bless their hearts, I'm a hobbyist. So art supplies that will still look great in 50 years is PLENTY.

Whenever I have artistic needs (or discover new needs by looking at their website), I know they'll have local supplies. Plus, ALL THE FERRIS WHEEL PRESS INKS.

They deliver faster than Amazon. And, when like an idiot I forgot to add something to my online order, I was able to contact them to get it tacked on without issue.

I'm in love.
