The kindest most helpful people in the world, I show up at the back door being my hermit self and they give me FAR MORE THAT I ASKED FOR THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP ? I show up in front and they do the very best they can with their limited staff they have every day. Indiscriminately they help. And it seems preachy even to me to say it but one need only ask to receive help as best they can

Hard to get to see anyone due to the volume of homeless people in line before you. Something needs to be done to curb the housing problem and addiction centers we need more desperately people don't realize truly how many ppl are homeless

Ask wellness has uncertified people working with them , I know in Penticton they have an uncertified practicing long term drug addict on night shift ( only 2 people on nights) monitoring other practicing drug addicts and the other drug addicts are the people she normally did her drugs with before she started with ask wellness , one can only imagine what the place is like inside the fence at night . It’s like they don’t even screen their workers credentials, how did this happen

There's a lot of good intentions here, but people start to get cold after dealing with broken/bent people and it starts to show.. they give a general direction for some things but don't explain much or show alot of compassion for the lost /scared/worried /beaten down addicted and low income/poverty stricken people. I sew both sides of that coin but all most people need is connection and to be heard... acknowledged... no reflection of the workers at ask, I'm sure they tire of the same stuff... its a good place to start if you need help though.

We are beyond grateful for the assistance of Ask Wellness in regards to a family member who needed help from them again. After leaving for a short time, and regretting his decision, he called Ask Wellness and, within a week, they picked him up from the bus, placed him in temporary accommodations,and currently are getting him set up with everything he needs to thrive once again. Thank you to Jolene, Kim , Leanne and everyone on his team at Ask Wellness!

Every time I have to reach out for help they treat us with dignity and respect. Very helpful. Without this in our community the effects of poverty would be far more severe. Thank you ASK Wellness Society for all you do for Kamloops.
