Both of my children love coming to this studio. All of the teachers are so hands-on. It's been amazing watching them flourish in their classes. They always look forward to going, I never have to force it. My son has made this his second home.

We love Balance School of Performing Arts, my daughter has beed a student for 3 years and enjoys her classes very much! Most of all we love Ms Ashlie who is an owner and a teacher, she is the kindest and most passionate person in what she does professionally. I admire her passion and the fact she is so involved in her community. Also her assistant Ashley is awesome and very helpful! They are professionals in what they do, Thank you Ms Ashlie!

Ashlie and Chip are the perfect team! When my daughter started dancing 6 years ago, Ashlie was her musical theatre teacher. When she left to open up her own studio, Balance Performing Arts, we followed her! We followed her because although my daughter likes dance, it was Miss Ashlie’s teaching style that made my daughter LOVE to dance! Over the years my daughter has added more classes, my youngest has also followed the dance path and even I have started taking classes! Balance is a place where all the kids feel safe, strong, and are encouraged to not only reach their full potential but to have fun while doing it! Anyone who puts their kids into dance/singing at Balance will find a home away from home 💛

My girls love to sing and dance at Balance. They are always excited to go and they come home happy after their lessons. My oldest has also recently started private singing lessons and absolutely loves it. The teachers are enthusiastic and encouraging. I highly recommend Balance School of Performing Arts.

We love Balance! It is a wonderful place for a child to grow as a dancer in an atmosphere that feels like family. My daughter has loved every minute of her dance classes and has learned both skill and discipline while having fun and making friendships she will cherish for a lifetime. Ashlie Atkinson has a true gift with working with children, her positivity and happy personality is contagious and evertime her classes are finished the kids all file out giggling and grinning ear to ear. So happy to be a part of the Balance family 👍♥️

When they first opened, it was a welcoming and inclusive place but sadly it has become a toxic environment. I have heard from actual teachers that they want to break down the students. They will kick kids out of recreational classes if they don’t think they are good enough, I understand if it is a competitive class, but not rec. If your child just wants to dance and have fun, I don’t recommend this studio, also class sizes unless a comp class are insane. In one jazz class there are 29 kids. Your kid will not get a quality class that way.

This dance family has accepted both my girls (yes even the crazy one) with open arms! Both my girls have learned so much from each teacher they have had a pleasure of dancing with. My oldest was shy and quiet when she started dancing with balance and within the year we noticed her confidence grow and now 3 years later she has a proud clear voice and enjoys every class!
