I was fortunate to be accepted into the Ballad Professional Insurance Career Course. I was eager to enter the insurance industry but needed to complete my education and obtain the necessary licenses. Having recently moved to Edmonton, I didn’t have any connections in the field.

A huge thanks to Max for accepting me into the program and to Cody and Cathy for their incredible support and knowledge, which helped me earn my certifications in such a short timeframe. This program not only provided me with the skills I needed but also introduced us to numerous companies, professionals, and industry connections. These opportunities gave me the best possible start to succeed in my new career. Highly recommended for anyone looking to build a career in insurance!

This program will Kickstart your transition into a new career. I started this program with a positive attitude being open to any and all information and came out with a good practicum placement which transitioned into full time employment in my new chosen field adding to my experiences previous to this program. If I were asked if I would recommend this program, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking at a new career.

The information I learned in this course is relevant and current in today's changing job market in supply chain management, anything from procurement to management to working in the global markets this is the place to be exposed to these new experiences and to learn so much more allowing students to have infinitely more options .

The staff and fellow students are a wealth of knowledge and experiences and helped me to increase my potential in this challenging and everchanging job market.

The hardwork behind the scenes facilitated guest speakers in industry and related areas which opened our minds to new options we did not realize were available . Placements for our practicum were tailor fit to our desires for the future and were also organized by the hardworking dedicated facilitators at this program

This program is not just a training program, it is a gateway to your own potential future. Make the most of it and show the world what you can do.

Overall I was satisfied with my experience. My classmates were great and we shared many personal experiences. My one critique is some of the interview assistance and preparation is not for the field of study and more for not for profit or humanities opportunities.

Overall, I'm disappointed with my experience with Ballads Supply Chain Management course. While I appreciate the certificates and training that I was able to receive for free from the course I feel like I was let down in many aspects. That being said, most of the class got what was expected out of it including a job however I was one of the unfortunate ones who was just left behind.

I tried to be a good student, I showed up, did the course and was even ahead of most of the class for the majority of it, I participated and encouraged all my classmates to show up and contribute even if they were having trouble staying engaged. The contents of the course were mostly good but there seemed to be an overall lack of preparation and plenty of logistical issues. The online course itself was also riddled with technical and content issues but that is out of their control, just I would expect more out of courses that ASCM charges so much money for.

They supply resume building support and were supposed to aid in job searching but most of the resumes that were built for me had numerous issues including simple spelling mistakes and the jobs I applied for during the course with the supplied resumes never even lead to a first interview.

Almost all my other classmates were set up with a practicum before the course was over, I was not and only several weeks after was I presented with one in a volunteer position with no chance of a job afterwards. After the course ended and my EI ran out and I told them I needed to find work right away I was only ever sent one job opportunity that was not at all in the field I was interested in, wasn't qualified for and didn't get even the opportunity to interview for in the end anyway. I finally found work but that was despite the course, not because of it. None of my certifications will be used in this job and I didn’t need the references or resume support they supplied either.

I would still recommend this course to someone looking for work as it never hurts to expand your knowledge and being free makes it accessible to anyone, however in my personal experience it was very disappointing.

🌟 Awesome training centre. Provides all the materials regarding the course and enhances your soft skills. The best part is that they believe in providing practical experience than just giving theoretical exposure. They even help in providing job assistance resume building, and interview practice.
