This is a cottage country gem in Bancroft. Their home decor section is outstanding, even better than their head office. Val who takes care of the ordering and display has great taste and there is a variety of choices large and small for your home or cottage decor. Worth a visit.

HUGE shout out to Steve who assisted me in getting a window ac unit today. It was a busy day because we all want ac units during a heatwave. He answered all my questions while delivering outstanding customer service. At first, the measurements did not work, so I called & cancelled my hold. Then he called back as he found a unit with the measurements & stronger btu! He made my day! My first time in Bancroft Home Hardware and what a delightful surprise. Well organized, easy to navigate, inventory and my dog Bella was treated like a princess! Ellen kept putting my add ons in a cart while I walked around and got a garden hose, hornet nest spray, sandals, you know, stuff that isn’t on your list! Awesome team work by everyone.This will be my new go to Home Hardware enroute to cottage! Loved the Canada Day flower arrangements

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a hardware store as the manager Is still not even willing to assist! Better off going to another store! Tried to exchange a can of compressed air as when I got home the little red stick won’t fit in as directed from the can! I tried to make it work by spraying it in different ways (wouldn’t of cared if it worked without the red hose) but it couldn’t do anything lol it’s just solid trash!

Love the friendly atmosphere, plenty of help for shopping, and they welcome your pets, on leash lol
Store is clean, prices are fair and deals at the front entrance are great!
The team in there make it feel more like a family working well together vs CT where one employee doesn't know the name of another employee let alone a product of anything other than what they've been taught to do.
