The amount of garbage blowing around the whole property on a daily basis us disgusting. Pretty sure it's a combination of dirty teen kids and the janitorial stuff, and the lack of garbages available around the school. All adds up to pure laziness. Oh yeah and the grounds maintenance workers play a huge part of it as well considering they just run over all the garbage with there lawn mowers and shred it all into a million pieces. Hard to find anyone that takes a little pride .

My eldest went here for a year then on to Bear Creek and had a mediocre experience with both partially his fault.My youngest went here and had a wonderful experience with guidance and many teachers. Except for 1 math teacher at Banting , claimed he hung out with “losers” and apparently therefore he was doomed because of this social faux pas. Needless to say, after more schooling, his friends are all successfully happy and gainfully employed as well as is my son . Lesson is teachers might know a subject , but they might have very poor psychology. And yes both were bullied by that math teacher and students. Guidance deserves the 2 stars. And my youngest learned how to deal with bullying from being here.

Worst place I've ever been to in my life. The amount of harrassment and discrimination I see almost everywhere, poor administration from the staff, bathrooms always crowded (and sometimes vandalized) and some of the people that go to this school disgusts me. Kids without discipline, commitment and responsibility makes this building worst. Don't get me started on the violence

I am surprised how some people actually like it here. When I graduate, I'll not be missing this place. And will be glad to not waste anymore of my life in this building. I already wasted 3 years of my life in this building. If you seriously like going here, you need serious help.

If I could rate this place 0 starts. I would. BANTING IS TERRIBLE!

It would be a step up if this school were a flaming hole in the ground. How is it possible, where public funding, which is vastly greater than the separate school board purse, is not utilized to maintain a school. The lockers, hallways, floors and classrooms are all a disgrace.

In terms of being a school, this place is just about the worst possible. The school administration is inefficient at best and not present at worst, and the constant problems include fighting, racism, vandalism, and a student culture of apathy. The only reason this isn't a 1 star review is that the teachers (most of them) try their best despite the situation and some are genuinely great. The school has it's problems, but is not so far gone it can't be redeemed within a couple student generations. This high school is unquestionably the worst in the area, but it is trying, and thus I've dubbed it "the sick school of Alliston"

I just wanted to point out that Mr.millsap is an amazing vice principle ! I took my nephew in and hes been great with him , very understanding and always looking out for the best interest for his students !

Worst school in the area teachers have no control over students in or out of the classrooms personally I’ve been threatened multiple times by fellow students over rumours whole thing was blown way out of proportion the staff at Banting has made no consistent effort to handle the situation a lot of fist fights happen across the street at the Victoria mart as far as I’m concerned the administration has shown a complete disregard for my safety on multiple occasions I’ve been lied to by a vice principal at Banting about minor details regarding the situation I don’t feel safe inside the school I’ve made that more than clear to the staff and the only thing they really seem to be pushing for is to come back to the school I’m certain the same issues would arise if I did return I’m currently trying to figure out what is next for my education I’ll look forward to the day when the school takes responsibility for the faculties gross negligence if anyone would like to see all the fights that happen at Banting on the regular go follow the Instagram account the is miraculously available on Instagram
